it was my first time buying bird seeds from them she was very friendly and very helpful they have black oil sunflower seeds 50 pounds for 30.00 very good price I prefer to support local business I will be returning again

I always try to shop small and love coming to Kos Hardware. I always buy their homemade birdseed (excellent value!) and her prices are much cheaper than big box stores. But because it's close to my home too, I'd much rather shop here because you are in and out, quick. Can't beat the small business feel when you go in here. The woman is always friendly and informative.

The old woman is crazy. She had a stack of cash on the counter and I was alone in the store. I yelled “hello”, and she came out of the bowels of the store and said “I’ll be with you in a minute!” (Mind you, I’m the only one in-the store). She wandered off to find the screws I needed and I took a box of staples off the shelf, she yelled at me “you can’t go back there! Not that I don’t trust you, but you’re not supposed to be back there!” (Remember the Stack of cash on the counter that I didn’t touch?). I proceeded to leave the store then, and she yelled that I was not polite and that I couldn’t leave. I think she has dementia. Don’t go here!

Been going there for years! Love this for birdseed and the lovely staff who work there. They are the best. You will not find a better place to get bird seed.

Friendly and knowledgeable owner.Nice spot for lawn care products andbird/chicken food plus more. I picked up two bags of pellets for my dads chicken.. It's my Dad's go to spot for pellets. Highly recommended!

I love this place the owner is so helpful and extremely knowledgeable and friendly she has the best prices in town. This store is definitely one of chicopee a hidden gems.

Went into the store today for the very first time, I am a Chicopee local who has never gone in, went in there this morning just to look around and see if they had something I was looking for, woman behind the counter was very rude in the way that she approached me, she was essentially asking me if I needed help finding anything but the way she went about it was super rude, I was in the back of the store looking at something and she yelled pretty rudely, hey! Hey! Can I help you find anything? and when I didn't respond right away she then rudely stated, hello hello I'm over here right here. I walked out of the store after that I don't recommend spending any of your money there, Larry's Hardware in Chicopee is amazing little hardware store and he's super friendly and they have everything. This place is horrible,

Could be oldest hardware store in the city. Friendly owners and good prices. Definitely will take you back in time. Old wooden floors. Nothing has been updated nearly 100 years.It's like going back in time.
