Just completed our second experience with Interstate Kitchen & Bath on our bathroom update. They did a complete update on our kitchen a few years ago. These guys are not the cheapest, nor are the the most expensive, but I can pretty much guarantee they will do a great job on your kitchen and/or bathroom remodel in the shortest amount of time possible. All of the guys (general contractors, plumbers, electricians, etc.) did a great job, were very respectful, courteous, and conscientious about maintaining a clean job site. I highly doubt you will be disappointed with the work they do. Even if you have one or more issues I promise you Joe from Interstate will make it right. He’s great to work with. I highly recommend to give him a call regarding your next kitchen or bath project.

We have nothing but great things to say about Joe and his dad at custom kitchens. He is well organized, polite, knowledgeable and offers reliable advice and service. Our kitchen came out exactly as we hoped, planned for, and executed.

Interstate went beyond meeting our expectations from initial design stage to work completion. Everyone was very professional, respectful and detail oriented. We would recommend without reservation. We are so pleased with our new kitchen !

We were extremely pleased with our kitchen makeover. During our in-home consultation, Joe made many great suggestions to upgrade the functionality and look of our kitchen. The design session allowed us choose our cabinet style, color, pulls, back splash and other details for our project. Although backsplash choices were a bit limited, we were able to use a local tile store to select the exact tile of our choice. We love our new refaced cabinets. They are very high quality, easy to clean and were beautifully installed, primarily by Brian. The electrical, tiling, plumber and granite sub contractors were all fantastic. The work was finished within the 2 week time frame we were given. Joe checked in on the work throughout and afterwards to insure the project was completed to their high quality standards and our satisfaction. We love our updated kitchen and would highly recommend Interstate Custom Kitchen & Bath!

Joe Yiznitsky and the team at Interstate Custom Kitchen and Bath did a fabulous job renovating our kitchen in Sturbridge. Everything was top notch at every stage of the process: planning, designing, demolition, and renovation. Joe and the team were very thorough. Always responsive, Joe and his team made sure that we covered everything that could come up. it was a smooth and ultimately satisfying renovation. He started and completed the work on time. We now have a great kitchen that we love and can cook in. Thank you, Joe, and the entire team at Interstate Custom Kitchen and Bath.

We turned to Joe and Sheena to create the bathroom of our dreams. Every step of the process was very smooth. Joe gently guided us through many design possibilities and helped us realize our vision. Everything was spelled out in the contract before the job started--timeframe, cost of materials, cost of labor, etc. There were no surprises: the project was completed at cost and in the time predicted. The subcontractors who work with/for Joe are excellent: skilled, quick, clean, pleasant. We would confidently work with any of them again in the future. Our new bathroom is beautiful; we are thrilled with how it turned out! We are excited to do our kitchen with Interstate Kitchens next year!

We have been slowly renovating and updating our 30 year old home. In the kitchen area, which is part of an open floor plan, we still like the look of our original natural cherry cabinets and our porcelain tile floor and kept them. But the corner cabinet door next to the stove and the island drawers--fronts and hardware--were really in need of replacing. We also wanted to update our counters to granite, get a new sink and faucet, do a tile backsplash, and update the kitchen lighting, all to go with new appliances. We met with Joe in our kitchen in August 2023 to do a paid in-home consultation to explore our needs. Due to knee surgery recovery, we had to wait until after the first of the year to finalize a contract and the consultation fee was applied to the contract price, which was great. Joe suggested refacing the fronts of the cabinet and the drawers, and getting whole new drawer boxes and slides. He said that everything would be solid cherry wood and while not exactly the same as the style of the old cabinetry, would be very close with a good color match so that they would blend well with our original cabinets. He also suggested installing a Super Susan in the corner cabinet. Joe's ideas and final cost for the project were excellent! It also included the electrical work (installing our new over island light, new kitchen outlets and a new counter circuit, under counter LED lights, upgraded LED canister ceiling lights, and upgraded wiring and a new circuit for our new induction stove) and plumbing (installation of our new dishwasher, faucet, and a water line for our new refrigerator). The work was scheduled for two weeks in May and started right on time. All of the subcontractors and professionals were excellent! Being retired, we were at home and enjoyed their presence and talking with them. We appreciate all their high quality, efficient work! Joe's business is a great family business started by his father, whom we met, and we enjoyed meeting Sheena, his wife, and Brian, who did the carpentry and various beginning and finishing tasks and is Joe's uncle! Almost everything was completed in the two weeks scheduled for the project, but we waited an additional two weeks to give the refacers (located in another state) time to get the best color match on the drawer fronts and cabinet door. Our kitchen was already usable and the wait was worth it because the new cabinetry looks great, as promised! This update has really renewed our kitchen! We couldn't be more pleased! We asked Interstate to redo the shoddy cabinet refacing done by Ideal earlier. The new refacing is solid and attractive. Should have hired Interstate in the first place!

They did a great job on our bathroom renovation. Lots of choices and good advice at the planning meetings--they really listened to us. Thorough preparations for the job, high-quality craftsmanship, super communication, and everything on schedule. The finished product is exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend these guys!

Great customer service! We had an issue with leaking under our sink quite some time after having Interstate remodel our kitchen that was questionable on if it was due to something set up not right by Interstate, or if it was regular wear and tear from us, etc. Regardless, Joe still took care of it!! And he had the issue fixed super fast!! We were very happy with how quickly our kitchen was remodeled initially, and with their continued great customer service afterwards too.

We just finished a large and complex kitchen re-model thanks to the team at Interstate Custom. Over five dozen cabinets and drawers were 're-faced' with beautiful hickory hard-wood panels. The job took longer than planned, but the crew doing the work was up to (and above) the challenge. Precision was tantamount being that we had frameless cabinets and we wanted to re-use existing hinge hardware holes and such. The team worked around problems, build and installed several new drawers and cabinets and most importantly, were complete professionals, setting up 'plastic dust containment' units, vacuuming every evening, and respecting the fact that we (and our two dogs) still lived and functioned in the house while they destroyed, and then re-built our kitchen. We whole heartedly recommend you give the team at Interstate Custom a call when you are ready to remodel.
