I came in today with my son to get a suit tailored, the man treated us with kindness and gentleness. I also appreciate his honesty in letting us know that he couldn’t alter our suit since the suit was to big on my son. Thank you

It's a cash only business, not due to card machine problems (I missed that 1st red flag). No prices are posted. They simply hold up the items to look at it, write down some numbers & hand you a pink slip w a total. Heads up, it's pricey. I was charged $83 for a 2 piece suit & a chiffon dress, nothing extra fancy. The dress alone was $61. Does that sound reasonable to you? How'd he even come up w that number? It's not worth arguing bc his English is not great & he otherwise seems like a nice old man.
I went here bc it is conveniently nearby, but I know I'll never go back. Scam me once, shame on you. Scam me twice? Nope.

They did an excellent job removing stains from 5 articles of clothing for me - they now all look brand new! They also repaired a dress that had a decent sized tear in the very front, and the repair is so inconspicuous you would never even know there was a rip in the first place. Highly recommend!

They lost my husband's pants from Men's Wearhouse (the pants he wore in our wedding). It has been two weeks since I tried to pick them up, and I am being ignored. I just tried calling to follow-up, and was hung up on. I called back, but no one would answer the phone. I am being very patient and calm, but ignoring a customer is not how you handle this type of situation!!!

Be very aware of their outrageous prices! No price menu for any dry clean items. I was charged one hundred dollars for just two small average sleeping bags! I will NEVER go there anymore!

I used East St cleaners for repairing my leather jacket. They replaced 2 pocket liners, restitched a zipper and a seam. The work was performed in a timely manner with good quality. Would have been a 5 start except I felt it was a bit costly.

Be weary of their prices. As you walk in the door you will notice this shop doesn't have price listings anywhere which means, these folks make any price they see fit at any moments notice. A perfect example I paid $21 for 3 shirts and $24 4 shirts brought in the same day. They claimed it was due to material which is not true, all shirts where of same material. I paid $45 for 7 shirts and will be the last time I go here. The money isn't the issue just the lack of consistency with prices from customer to customer will vary.
