The people at the deli are extremely nice every time I go. I tend to order the same thing every week and like to leave my order and go shop. They see me coming and get their pad and start checking with me what I want. They now even know my name. It’s the same with the cashiers. I will always go to big y. Great service and very clean store.

I have noticed that every time I am in this specific store, wearing a mask cause I'm immunocompromised, their manager stops in his tracks and starts hovering around me. This makes me come here less. I shouldn't be made to feel like a criminal just cause I'm sick.

Have been shopping here most of my life. I've noticed that strawberries (the first thing you see when entering) are usually moldy. I'm also one of the unlucky few that got listeria due to Boars Head. Will probably switch to another chain store. Big Y doesn't seem to value freshness anymore.

Most employees are nice. However, the stare-down at checkout is completely UNWARRANTED! I see that I'm not the first on here to comment about it. Someone should tell the rude young woman who was there this morning that there is more to her job than just staring people down with her hands on her hips. When a register opened, she just stood there, not telling anyone... with the hands-on-hips, wide-stanced pose and that stare. Also, we are allowed to have multiple orders without being accused or having someone stand way too close (this has happened). Maybe she'd be better off working as a prison guard (?). We don't shop here to be made to feel uncomfortable.

The only Big Y where the employees stare you down as you’re shopping. They make you feel super uncomfortable. I will NEVER shop here again.

Always a good shopping experience at the Chicopee Big Y. The seafood looked very fresh and plentiful. The guy who helped me was great! The store was very clean. There were plenty of tills available for checkout. I was in and out quickly. Overall a great shopping trip!
