Definitely a high end wine shop where you'll find excellent Bordeaux, Burgundy & California wines. But don't let that intimidate you, the staff is welcoming, courteous, highly professional and eager to help anyone who walks in the door. You'll find wines from all around the world. My favourite section is the selection of low cost ($13) wines. They're all good! Some are regular staples you can expect to find year round, but there's plenty of turnover to try some unusual selections. And to top it off, buy 12 bottles and get the store discount! Finally, I suggest dropping by on a Saturday afternoon for their in-store wine tasting.

The gentleman who helped me was super helpful, informative and never tried to upsell/push me. This store has a lot of different wines from all over with good pricing. I will be back. There's a small parking lot and two entrances Boylston and Heath st.

Amazing wine store tucked on the side of Rt. 9! So it's Friday night and we were planning on pizza and beer. We pick up the pizza from Frank Pepe's and notice a small chalkboard sign at the side of the road. On a whim we pull over. I go in and ask for a good pizza wine, and I am pleasantly surprised on how nice and helpful the shopkeeper was! Not only was he respectful of my budget, he walked me through his thought process, and even cared to ask what kind of pizza I was having so he could give a more specific recommendation. Then I notice-- they have wine from all over the place! Not just the typical California/France/Italy, but the Finger Lakes, Hungary, Lebanon, Georgia, etc etc. They had a section for wine with clay notes, a section for orange wines, a shelf for dessert wines, dedicated shelves for bottles <$15... they have something for everyone, whether you're a fancy wine connoisseur, or if you just wanted to switch up pizza & beer night to a slightly classier pizza & wine night. I'd highly recommend this unassuming wine store. It's approachable and fun despite it's traditional appearance.

Came here on a whim the other day and it was well worth the stop! Remarkably accurate descriptions of the wines by the owner- he helped me find the wines that matched my taste and budget! Cannot recommend enough, will be back again soon!
