Played a round this past Tuesday 9/17 getting a look for a school tournament that my grandson was playing in Wednesday. I know that greens were recently aerated and coming back - which is understandable this time of year. However Tee to Green is where I question something going on besides grubs, skunks and water being how the fairways were - took us 2 hours to get into the course, which is also understandable, and also know now why it was $60 - and I probably would just buy some food at Wegman’s with the $60 should I head that way again - Come On man just have to do better

Range is very unreliable. Always changing hours, changing rules, changing prices. Today closed for private event. Gave it one star for the valuable real estate it sits on.

Not sure what’s going on here. Great design, great clubhouse/golf shop. Great food and drink. Nice driving range and putting greens and cool sitting area outside of the bar to watch people finish on 18. Staff is nice too. All of that being considered is why I’m giving it 3 stars. I have played this course over the years and the conditions seems to continue getting worse. Fairways terrible, greens decent

Booked online tee time at 3:12 for what I thought was 18 holes.
Found out later it was $43 for 9 holes, because the "league" was going off the back. A little disclosure would have been nice.
I'm done with this place.

Fun course but the ranger harassed us for playing slow the entire round. We were a group of 4, playing below average golf and finished 18 in 4.5 hrs. Definitely not cruising, but not crazily off pace either.

Good price greens are not the greatest even though I shot my best score here. One thing I would change is taking away that garden next to the putting green and add a chipping area. I need to practice my chipping a lot and I know a lot most people will agree with me and remove the turf on the range because it doesn’t feel the same on the course

I've been a loyal Putterham golfer for over 25 years, and recently brought my 4-year-old daughter along for a Sunday round with the guys. I was surprised and disappointed when the pro approached me insisting she pay a greens fee (not just rider's fee). I understand the need for policies, but it seems excessive to charge for a young child simply riding in a cart, especially when she doesn't even play. Good luck Brookline.

Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs
I played a round today, and it was a huge disappointment. The course conditions were abysmal—fairways were patchy, greens were bumpy, and the rough looked like it hadn't been maintained in weeks. To make matters worse, the pace of play was painfully slow. We waited at nearly every hole, which completely ruined the flow of the game.
The cost for this frustrating experience was outrageous at $75. To add insult to injury, I was charged an additional $32 for rental clubs. These were in terrible shape: the driver was dented and there were no wedges included. When I brought this up with management, they were completely uninterested in addressing my concerns. They simply told me these were the best clubs they had, which is unacceptable for the price.
Overall, this course offers poor conditions, slow play, and shockingly bad customer service. Save your money and find a better place to play.

The WORST course I have ever played at. The greens and fairway's had so many holes and were covered with water. When I brought this to the attention of the head gold pro, he claimed he had no idea the course looked so bad and that my opinion did not matter to him. The old guy with the beard who seems to oversee golfers was extremely extremely rude aswell. Save your money and go to a different course.

I golfed here last weekend and really enjoyed it. I'm an intermediate level golfer and this was a fun course to play. It had some nice challenges where you have to decide whether to lay up or go for it. The fairways were in good condition and the greens were beautiful like carpet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good also with inside seating and a nice outside deck. The draft Trillium and pulled pork sandwich were delicious. I highly recommend playing here and will definitely be back.

The hours of the driving range are very unclear and unreliable.
On their website as well as on the flyer on the ball machine they say they open at 6 AM on Fridays but when I showed up at 6:20 AM only the grounds crew was there.
Same thing happened today, on their website it states they open at 7:30 AM, over the phone they told me they'd open at 8 and when I showed up they told me they opened at 9.
While it would be nice to be able to hit some balls before work at least make the hours predictable so that I can plan my day accordingly.

Great muni course with an excellent 19th. Staff is friendly. Course improvement projects are present but do not affect play. Great driving range as well.

Consistently a 5+ hour round. Entire course is in terrible shape. Absolute ripoff and worst course in Boston

Had probably the best chicken sandwich this side of the Mississippi here. Don’t even need to golf to enjoy. Grab a beer sit in a chair and enjoy people having a day on the links.
