Our one year old son has been going here for past 3 months and they have been nothing but great. We don’t speak mandarin so we were hesitant at first but our son loves going there everyday. The teachers are all very caring. We’re unfortunately moving so have to leave Panda Cub but highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable day care in the area.

Our 7 month, Ava, has attended Panda Cub for the last 3 months and we are extremely pleased. She is always happy arriving and leaving. They provide helpful reports about her day and always put safety first.

We have been so fortunate to have had our child attend pre-school here. We have been apart of the Panda Cub Academy community for a little under three years. And our only complaint has been that our child has to leave to attend elementary school. Nancy, the director, is very attentive and is always quick to reply to an email. The teachers are loving and nurturing. As an unapologetic helicopter parent, I had no reservations or concerns for the safety and care of my child when leaving them at Panda Cub Academy.We are not a Mandarin speaking household by any means, and my child is able to competently comprehend and converse in Mandarin. Prior to the pandemic, there were also enrichment teachers that came in for a variety of activities (music, movement & dance, reading, etc.).As cleanliness is one of my main concerns for a place as high-touch as a daycare, I would love to witness the prep for the daily and weekly cleaning routines. The pandemic protocols here are very detailed and clearly implemented with thought and intention to keep all children, staff, and families safe.Very happy with our time spent here!

Had the opportunity to meet the staff and the owners and felt they made a very good initial . Owner had an interesting professional background and the staff seemed enthusiasticRight now is a really tough time, especially with Covid. But despite her professional background, I really felt like they were not taking the right protocols to keep my kids safe. Not just with Covid but even the processes they employed for pick seemed a much too informal. There were other privacy issues too . Don’t recommend

Terrible place. I have had bad experiences with these people as well as a few others. They are constantly getting bad reviews removed. Don’t send your kids here.

Our 15 month old son started here 2 months ago. I have been so impressed with how well run Panda Cub Academy is and how much fun our son is clearly having. We were not looking for a Chinese immersion daycare to begin with - but when we interviewed the directors of all other daycares in Newton/Brookline about their covid procedures and curriculum during this pandemic, Panda Cub Academy stood out by a mile. They are so organized, attentive to detail, focused on health and safety... and of course, provide our son a really fantastic education full of fun. They send us loads of photos each day. If you have a question about this school, please send me a message, I'd be happy to share. Nancy, who is the director, is so on top of everything, replies to us literally anytime of day we contact her, and is focused on ensuring our son maximizes his experience at Panda Cub. We did not intent on doing Chinese immersion when we began looking for daycares, and now we want our son to stay at Panda Cub for the next few years!
