I'm a royal customer of BoA for several years, I had a disappointing experience at the bank. Upon entering, there was no one to greet me or inquire about the services I needed, forcing me to seek assistance on my own. Additionally, the service attitude of banker Jasmine was extremely poor. She lacked any semblance of a smile and did not even offer a basic greeting like "how are you". I believe that as an employee of BOA, maintaining a professional service attitude is fundamental. Moreover, when I needed to make a transfer, she repeatedly asked me the same questions, which made me feel as though she was not familiar with the banking services and was unable to quickly understand and address my needs. To be honest, my initial choice of this branch was because of Tatiana, who, as a Merrill investment banker, provided exceptionally considerate service and understood and addressed customer needs effectively. However, since she has been transferred to another branch, Jasmine's service has profoundly disappointed me, leading me to decide not to visit this branch again.

Services unacceptable, been with them for many years, happened move to Chestnut hill area, the nearest B of A Bank, today I been standing in front the office waiting for service, bank manager just walking by with out saying do I need help, I thought she's very busy and she went in to the tellers room. So I walk over to the sofa area, I'm assuming this is the waiting area, 5 minutes went by manager walk out from the room and looking at me and while I tried to get her attention she walks to the front area starting takes care people just walk-in, again and again, I said to my self am I look invisible, 2 times I walk in front of her she just looks always. This is unacceptable, I never see a bankers acting like this. I don't mind banking my moneys with almost no interest rates but with very poor services no way. They do had many banks besides this one.

I recently had a personal check written to me for $1200. The CS rep ask the manager Jill A Papazian to sign off on it. She claimed that the signature on file didn't match the signature on the check and proceeded to called the person that wrote me the check. They VERBALLY told her, YES they wrote me the check. However, this was not good enough for Jill, she then insisted on them giving her a "security code" that she sent to their cell phone. Because of a language barrier (they're Vietnamese) and that the person thought this was a scam or fraud they did not reply with the code.Mind you, they told her verbally several times on the call that they wrote me the check. She refused to cash the check. I left this branch and immediately drove to another BOA branch, told them want happened with Jill and they CASHED THE CHECK WITH NO PROBLEM!!!! No calling anybody, no "security code" and I was told that the signature DOES MATCH. Which tells me Jill Papazian was being RACIST. My boyfriend had a Business checking account and had previously closed it because THIS BRANCH is racists!!!!!!! If you are AFRICAN AMERICAN and MUST bank with BOA, I would not do business with this branch!!!!! They like making blacks jump thru hoops at this location.

Will try to turn away customers if they do not have an appointment, even if they are willing to wait (including Preferred customers). Will quote inconsistent wait times and try to get customers to leave and return another day if they don't feel in the mood to do work or feel slightly busy. Most disturbingly, the branch reps LIED to their headquarters that customers who were willing to wait had left the branch. We know this because we heard them LYING to their headquarters - because we were there and had never left. Completely untrustworthy and unprofessional staff. Hard to believe anyone could trust them with their money if they are willing to lie over basic facts (presence of their customers, wait times). Other negative review(s) for this branch can be found under the 199 Boylston Street branch commentary.
