“Staff is nice. Management philosophy understaffs location (not just this store - only way for employees to catch up, it seems, is if someone stocks shelves on their own time), forcing the store to have unstocked shelves and boxes all over the place. Every time I visit, employees are not at register but out on floor stocking. No other store forces employees to do both. I hope they are paid more than other retail stores because they definitely work harder.”

“A Berkshire County gem! The samosas are so good, we had to go back the next day to get more. Delicious, non-greasy, and the tamarind sauce really takes the flavor over the top. The woman who runs the place is warm and friendly. And why are there women playing mah-jongg in the other room? Who knows--it's delightful!”

“Nice clean organized little country store with a broad mix of things. Deli was great and the owner served me right at close for some deli meat. Can't thank her enough for coming in clutch when everything else was closed.”

“Bear butter is the BEST THING EVER. It is so delicious. Once you try it you won’t go back. I love the chunky version on apples especially, but both are great, it makes such a wonderful gift (sharing a delicious food is an easy way to share love with someone else). If you’re thinking about buying it you should stop thinking and order it now”

“Amart is the best place to go!! We live near by & go many times a day for all our needs. Every worker is so awesome & they have amazing food at the deli & sides. I could go to any place in town, but we always choose the best AMART”

“Big Y has come a long way over the years, and I have to give them a lot of credit. In certain areas, they really knock it out of the park. They make a strong effort to have as many local products as possible, for example, and I like that I'll often find unique things to buy here. They also have a really great food service department and their made to order subs are excellent and well-priced.That said, the store is smaller than the other grocery store in town, so I find often that the selection of some products suffers. Pricing does tend to be a little higher (on average) than the competition as well - but not dramatically so. As a result, rather than being my primary store I find that I stop at Big Y more for smaller trips or for the unique products I can't get elsewhere.”

“Went in looking for gluten free options for my son. There was a nice selection. A little pricey and the aisles were narrow, but store was clean and stocked well.”

“Always busy, unfortunately. But everyone loves a bargain and their gas is cheaper than anywhere. The air pump is also free, but is placed where you may risk getting hit by a car if you use the pump on the passenger side!”

“A great store to find all your food items. Great selection of coffee and ready made sandwiches. The staff were excellent. We will be revisiting this store the next time we're in North Adams.”

“I was at the pharmacy to pick up a prescription on Wednesday night, 20 July. I have to say this pharmacist was absolutely wonderful. He went above and beyond. It was almost closing time. I had forgotten my prescription card. He managed to find it the information, even though I had not had a prescription through this market 32. When he saw what my insurance was going to charge me he decided he could fine perhaps a better price for me. And he did at that. He explained every possible thing about the drug I needed to take. He was so kind. This took place at market 32 on Hubbard Avenue in Pittsfield. I cannot thank him enough.”

“I enjoy Aldi but it needs to be bigger. Aldi clientele like to sit in isles& block people from passing..they typically do it in the fruit&veggie section..unsure why many of which don't even move for the workers that are trying to restock. Workers are always great no issues but the store needs a new layout/rearranging.Here's an example from Google(not my pic) ⬇️”

“Besides the fact that it's a miniature Walmart, with nothing that cost a dollar, great spot to pick up some Doritos of any flavor or an endless supply of knock off cereal. Solid candy selection, fast card reader, and lots of random stuff you'd never buy unless you were at Dollar general.”

“If you’re looking for a beautiful, well stocked convenience store right at the base of your favorite ski resort, look no further. You’ve found it. I love this place. They’re amazing and always well stocked and friendly. If I could give 6 stars I would. Excellent experience.”

“Interesting mix of products. I'm not sure how to use a lot of them but I can't wait to try them! They carry actual yams here and I've never seen them anywhere else in the Berkshires.”

“Love the feeling of the old mom and pop stores from when I was a kid. Love you can get you beer and wine there. Also it is cheaper than liquor stores. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Love to shop there.”

“Out of the three "big" grocery stores in town stop and shop consistently had the best prices, and in my opinion the shortest lines due to having a sufficient number of employees working. And they're always friendly!”

“Each Dollar General, although following the same formula (employees stock AND tend to customers), varies significantly by the quality of its employees. Cheshire, MA DG is one of the best I've been in throughout the country. Still, upper management clearly cares more about moving cheap merchandise than its customers, and the customers don't seem to mind.”

“Seems odd to review a supermarket but this is a really nice one. Excellent staff, departments, selections, bla bla, all things we already know and love. But the best thing ever invented since sliced bread is the Scan It (tm) device! Go ahead, scan sliced bread with it.Scan while you shop then scan the whole device and pay. It's an underutilized service but it's a profound improvement to checkout. If you are hesitant to try the Scan It device, it's pretty simple and staff are happy to help if you get stuck. Worst case is you end up checking out in the traditional way. Meh.To start, scan your Stop and Shop card at the Scan It kiosk near self checkout. A few moments later it will click and light up one of the scanning devices just for you. It has a touch screen and a scan trigger. As you shop, point and shoot, it goes beep, put the item in your (hopefully) reusable bag. You can fill your cart to overflowing if you want to.When you're ready, touch its Checkout button. The Checkout button will warn about finalizing your cart then displays a personal barcode. You scan that barcode at any self checkout register and pay. That's it! Boop. They might audit your cart once to make sure you're doing a good job. Staff will help if you get tangled up.There are a few ways to get tangled up in the device, namely accidentally touching screen buttons. Such buttons include price check, cart item list, probably other things. If that happens, there is also a button called Scan which sets you back to normal.”

“This Walmart was cool. No fresh produce or meat, which was something i wasn't used to. But, it is a nice size. They have everything else it seemed. It was stocked, clean, and not as busy as most that I've been to or visited in larger city's. The workers were nice, and that's all you can ask for. No pics for this one.”

“I was hesitant to buy the store membership because you have to buy in bulk quantities, and I didn't think that we would be able to use the food before the expiration date, but we did.I have saved over a thousand dollars in less than a year by shopping here.”

“This particular Dollar General is very well stocked, orderly and houses helpful cheery staff, ample well placed parking, as well as the expected fair to low prices you'd expect to find in this chain. It's only real drawbacks are its out of the way location, but it is on a main road and is great if it's already between or near the place you are already heading.I personally have never had a hard time getting in and out quickly or been disappointed in variety of its stock (especially considering its smaller building size).Over all this store gets a healthy thumbs up.”

“We came here to pick up food and kitchen supplies while staying at a rental in the Berkshires. Staff was friendly and able to give us quick answers. Set-up is similar to other locations we'd been to. Prices were low, especially with so many generic items available. Shelves and appearances were adequately maintained as product (especially grocery) moves quickly.”

“I can’t even put into words how satisfied I was with Chelsea the florist at Market 32z I had a vision, met with her, and the surprise on my wedding day was PERFECT. She set everything up, and prepared it all even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Chelsea is flexible, accommodating, affordable and AMAZING. I won’t go anywhere else and will continue to send future brides her way!”
