Jill also offers other creative glasswork, including pours and smaller glass crafts, making her shop accessible whether you’re looking for a gift or a high-end piece for your home.

What made the visit even better was Jill herself. She’s not just an incredible artist but also a genuinely nice person who’s easy to chat with. “Entertainment and education of the Arts occur here in the evening. When staying in Lenox, Ma., check their schedule for you may find something that stirs your interest. The events differ every night. It is small and personal venue with the professionals. Seats about 25, so call head that day for a reservation. It is about two hours. And there is a small Art gallery too. An enjoyable and unexpected evening.”

“Very nice location. As a former mill it has thick walls and high ceilings. It is clean and well lit. The lofts are very nice and the parking is just fine. The location isn't near anything by walking but a short drive to town center. But a little out of the way is usually what an artist lift is for. No distractions.”

“MCLA Gallery 51 is run by the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and it's mostly staffed by students. It's downtown North Adams, walkable distance from MASS MoCA. The gallery presents work from a wide range of emerging and mid-career contemporary artists. All medium considered, from painting and sculptures, to mixed media, photography and video. It's a fun gallery to stop by to see some emerging cool art, that you can also buy!”
