It's incredible that today there are people as dishonest as the one who attended me in this jewelry store both the lady who started my jewelry and the gentleman well dressed and with his good gold chain. dishonest people that last week I went to sell some rings that I had absolutely all gold 18 but it turns out that the lady when she weighed them and coincidentally the two less heavy were gold 18 but fortunately for them the ring of 18 g and the ring of 19 g fortunately for them was gold 14 and gold 16 gold and so that you can see that we are not all ignorant unfortunately you found a person who personally took the gold 18 from the mines in a few words I was a miner so that you come to deceive people in that way they have not been dishonest and do not take advantage of the people who do not know how many people will not have sold gold 18 and if gold 14 or how many people will not have told

My mom and i went to go repair one of my 14 g Tricolor Valentino I.D. Bracelet and her 14g necklace, We picked both up today and the valentino bracelet was missing 2 links because the bracelet fits alot shorter and tighter on my wrist. The necklace my mom brought in was not the same one we brought in, the necklace was alot smaller and lighter than it was when we picked it up today. The chain felt lighter and cheaper. They must’ve swapped out the necklace for a different necklace because it wasnt the same one we brought in for repair. They told us the store was trusted and legit.

Steve created both my engagement ring and wedding band custom. He has also repaired, upgraded and customized several other pieces I had. He’s amazing to work with, very knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. The quality of his jewelry and work is superior. I would highly recommend Steve and The Gold Mine for your jewelry needs.

I had to get my ring fixed and this place was the only place at the time that came up. First time walking in I felt Such a negative energy from the three girls working there. I tried to ignore the sensation and proceed with getting my ring fixed. The day I came in to pick up my ring the same thing happened. The work that was made on my ring was great but the vibe the three girls where giving out just wasn’t it, not welcoming at all. Definitely not coming back.

I haven't been there in a long time so possibly something has changed. About 20 years I had a lot of beautiful designer jewelry but I ran into hard times leaving work because of a disability. I went there to hawk some pieces hoping to get them back. What should have stopped me...they didn't know what stones were in my pieces. I had a beautiful blue zircon ring with a carat of diamonds, they low balled me. I questioned it...they thought it was a blue topaz...way big difference in price. Another one was a rose gold band with sapphires, tsavorites, pariaba stones. They had no idea. I came in with a flower ring, gorgeous ruby and diamonds. They were flipping over that one. Their telling me how outstanding the rubies were and how high quality the diamonds were. Well, the rubies were simulated...diamonds were high quality cubics. I was just looking for money for the weight of the 14k gold. Everytime I went I had tell them what the stone was. I had studied under a gemologist. There's more but you get the drift. What killed me the most and still does. I had my mother's engagement ring. I never would sell it. She put it on my finger when she had a stroke. I never took it off. I needed to have it sized so a friend recommened a jeweler's bldg in Boston and suggested I get appraised. He noticed the stone was loose and suggested to get it reset. He was honest...not selling me anything. The stone was close to perfect as my mother had told me. He appraised it for $4000. Going forward...living in a condo there was a special assestment. Being out of work, I couldn't afford it. I wanted to keep this ring in my family so I offered it to a family to help me. I gave her the appraisal. She got one from Gold Mine. $800+ but she gave me $1000 for it. I don't blame her because she trusted these people. Every friend I have screamed at me about this. Unfortunately I was desperate. I did go back to the jeweler in Boston. He had his pictures. He stuck by his appraisal. Who would you trust? The Gold Mine or a reputable jeweler in Boston. It finally went (not as a ring) to a relative who never gave my mom a Christmas gift on her own. Please be careful, know the value of your jewelry before you go in. Try Tobey's on Shirley Ave in Revere for repairs. I cannot imagine how much they sold my other pieces for.

My grandfather used to purchase jewelry for my grandmother here. I remember him bringing me there when I was younger. I recently purchased a watch I've had my eye on. Great watch, great price and great service. Thank you!

Excellent service, products are beautiful and they stand behind their jewlery. We have been buying from The Gold Mine since 1996. Only place that we trust knowing we are getting exactly what we paid for and not overpaying.

Charging 7% in Massachusetts for interest is against the law I have contacted the attorney general's office as the 3% is the highest they can charge they are ripping off the Hispanic community and Chelsea for over 34 years they've been breaking the law please avoid we should all get our money back as I was a customer there and I got charged 7% when the max is 3% to the whole state
