This company and its credit card both are the worse card and dessicion I made. I lost my job and my parents are sick and I have spoken to so many reps and all they did was lie and put me deeper into debt with them. The reps are smart asses and kind rude I regret opening an account with these leaches. If you are thinking about getting one DONT DO IT..

Tried to return a water heater and was told my ID was blacklisted because I am a plumber and return too many water heaters that leak without a receipt. I wasn’t warned . I wasn’t aware of anything. I’m doing my regular every day job and now I have an 86 year old woman with no hot water for almost 36 hours because I can’t return a water heater that I have a confirmation in case number for. DO NOT BUY A WATER HEATER AT HOME DEPOT. I repeat, do not buy a water heater at Home Depot what they do not tell you is the prorated and they do not give you a warranty they give you a pro rate. Extortion and greed at its finest

I went everywhere to do my kitchen and I'm SO glad i found Diedra in kitchen design! She really knows what she's doing! From choosing the colors and what they're actually going to look like in different lighting. Also making sure your kitchen is actually useful, not just beautiful. She went over the best cabniets for my elderly mother. A lot more goes into it that I would have never thought of if I didn't have her! She's a total gem! So happy with all of her help. I called and emailed probably more than most, she never left me hanging. Even super thoughtful when my bored 7year old would tag along. If you're looking for someone super efficient, organized, super nice and of course knows everything about every cabniet line and nick knacks...also the best for your buget...you need to find her. Super impressed!!!!! 5 stars for sure

I thought this was a great store but I have recently had a change of heart because I opened a home depot credit card and I have Regret it SO MUCH. The representatives do not know what they're doing and they charge you extra if you're late. Even when I told them to change the payment date. And they are rude and very unprofessional. I can't wait to pay this card off to never go back there and never deal with home depot

Honestly, go to any other store. Go anywhere else. This store is incompetence at the highest level. From every level of worker. I had to do everything online and myself after trying to just get the store to call me back for over a week and going in person twice. Every single person should lose their job and the store should be run completely remote. There is no need for actual workers. I don't know how they have jobs or why they are paid. If I can do everything I needed myself, with a computer, then what's the purpose of wasting my time with these incompetent individuals. Please never waste your time stepping foot in this disgrace of a business.

Horrible experience, went to get paint and no one was at the paint center. I went to ask if they could find someone for me and they did page someone to come to the paint center. I stood there for 20 minutes and in that time there were two gentleman in orange smocks standing chatting and laughing. I left the store and on the way out saw the gentleman who paged for help and all he could do is shrug his shoulders. Poor customer service.

You arrive to buy something and you can't find it and when you go to look for an employee they are gathered together in 3 or 4 groups talking about their lives and when you go to ask about the store's product they frown and say they don't know because it's not the sector of them, a worthless employee in a store that does not respect its buyers, that without them there would be no store.

This 5 star review is strictly for the manager named JARELL ( sorry if misspelled) . While other associates simply said sorry we can’t do nothing until Monday, JARELL did the opposite . Ive been in customer service for 15 years and well familiar with retail. JARELL did what he had to without any attitude or anger. I did apologize to him saying it was partially my fault for leaving store day prior while issue was being resolved. I just couldn’t understand that loss prevention would have access to previous purchases and at which register and not store employees. ANYWAYS , JARELL deserves to be acknowledged by staying concentrated on resolving the issue. I know from self experience in retail how easy it is to just tell a customer sorry nothing we can do until monday. That’s the easy way to not deal with a customer issue, JARELL AND THE LADY ( which i didnt get her name) took the more in depth approach and perfectly resolved my issue. I apologized to Jarell for being an inconvenience and he had no problem helping me out!!!I AM GLAD THIS MAN IS ONE OF THE MANAGERS FOR THIS LOCATION , WITHOUT SATISFIED CUSTOMERS THERE WOULDNT BE REPETITIVE BUSINESS!!!GIVE JARELL A PAT ON THE BACK !!! Thank you !!!

I had an issue with a broken water heater that was installed at 8:00 PM to find out it was cracked causing all the water to spill out. We had to take it apart and return for a new one before the store closed that night. Thank you to Sarah and Jackie who made the process seamless and doing the right thing and saving us some money. In an era where customer service is a lost art they stepped up and talked me off the ledge with their help. I say Thank you for your help and making the customer feel appreciated again.

I rented a pickup truck to use. Everything I had to do with it was close by and drove roughly 7.5 miles, no more, when using the rental. I filled up the gas as much as I could at the gas station but upon returning the vehicle, the employee stated I had not filled it up and needed to charge me an extra $20. I am well aware you need to fill up the tank and the charges of $10/gallon if you don’t so I knew to do this and even kept the receipt. There is no way that I used two gallons of gas for my trip and the fact I went to a gas station and kept a receipt furthers this claim. He was rude about the situation and didn’t listen to me. He scammed me for no reason and I’m completely outraged that I was overcharged for no reason. I will never be going back to this Home Depot and I never want to see that employee again. Do not go here it’ll cause more headaches than solutions.

It's too bad because I usually enjoy a trip to Home Depot. I purchase many pieces of hardware such as nuts and bolts, cap screws, tools, lumber and paint. Unfortunately the Chelsea Home Depot never has anything in stock. The specialty screws, nuts and bolts inventory drawer is always poorly stocked, mislabeled and misidentified. It's like someone made a mess of things and the staff just gave up on fixing it . Speaking of the Staff....I am all for newly arrived immigrants being gainfully employed by a Top Company. Unfortunately, many of these new comers do not speak English and they are Customer Service. I do not speak the languages of many of the staff. I do speak French, Creole, Sicilian and German. This is the Chelsea Home Depot.....I try never to go there. Try Somerville, Saugus or Danvers location.
