I have a mini golden doodle, just about 1 yr old. Tiny tiny dog, maybe 10lbs. I've been taking him to different salons trying to find the best fit as far as who can cut his hair and trim his nails the best. You'd be surprised that there are places that do not know how to cut mini doodles hair and just shave all the way off. Shiny coats does do a good job at cutting hair and trimming nails. I'll give them that, however - they will take advantage of you on price if you are clueless like I am. I was paying $20 plus tip to have his nails clipped when needed, and then $125 plus tip to have him groomed when needed. My mom pointed out that $125 is way too much to be paying for such a tiny dog. So, I then confronted them, with my mom, on the price. It was then that I learned nails are included in grooming - so right there I'm double paying. For a whole year, not one person there told me there that nails are included in with the grooming. And then - on top of that- a grooming is $95, not $125. They try and tell me that my dog is matted and that they have to charge more for that. I'm sorry, but my dog was never matted. I have plenty of pictures and brush his hair daily. So - owner be ware. They will try and take as much money from you as they can. Will not be going to Shiny Coats anymore. Now on the search for a

Ive been looking for a new grooming place moving back to Massachusetts, and this place did an amazing job!!! Ceasar has been getting so many compliments all day. I definitely recommend shiny coats for your dogs grooming services☺️

Shiny Coats Pet Grooming is definitely 5 stars! My dog is definitely high maintenance and has major anxiety and they know exactly how to handle him. They are kind, caring and professional at all times. My dog was recently sprayed by a skunk and they helped by getting him in for an unexpected appointment. I sure did appreciate that!!

This place is AMAZING. I have a yorkipoo mix of something and a Siberian husky. My husky doesn’t appreciate being groomed and they took him anyway and got him accustomed. The entire staff is so kind and gentle and even for nervous dogs they take such good care. I am CONSTANTLY recommending and sending my friends here. I haven’t been in almost a year but am due for both my pups to go back & can’t wait. They have always been incredible and I always am super happy and so are my clean and sweet pups.

Love this dog groomer! They groomed our 2 Yorkies to perfection. Their care and love for the animals is evident from when you walk in their door. I highly recommend them, especially if you have a small pup (or2) that need a grooming from a caring groomer.

Shiny coats did a great job with our nervous, older yorkie. She looks the best she's ever looked and was very relaxed when we picked her up! They were quick to respond to booking the request and friendly in person! So happy we found shiny coats!
