With so many banks in Chelmsford, I have no idea why anyone would go to this bank or if a Santander customer why they would go to this branch.Customer Service - not at all. Doing business at banks is a large part of my profession. Every time I have visited this branch I always (always!) get push back from requests made. The answer is always (always!) no. They do not make any effort, no attempt for a positive outcome. The Chelmsford branch is an easy 5 minute drive, just 2 miles from my office, yet I have to drive nearly 30 minutes to a branch 20 miles away to a branch where staff smile and do their best to be helpful. The Chelmsford branch has even gone so far as declining a request from another Santander branch who was making an effort to save me from wasting an hour in drive time - just to pick up copies of statements. Tomorrow I plan to visit their corporate HQ in Boston to file a complaint in person.

I went to this bank location and Mauna Patel was amazing. She solved a big issue I had with payments a landlord had lost so she went ahed and helped me navigate and was super helpful. I wish all the employees were as good as her. She put me first and made a very stressfull situation simple and helped me work through it. THANK YOU MAUNA YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!

This bank has made huge improvements on their mobile app. This location also offer a drive through and depositing and withdrawing money is very convenient and easy. Even though there are many options in Service, there are times when it's inevitable and I have to go into the branch. I have always been greeted by friendly associates and treated with courtesy and respect. They take their time in attending to each customer.

I would give no stars if I could. I got laid off from my job and when my first paper check finally came in (mind you it is government issued) they would not cash it because it read "Stephan" not Stephanie because my full name is too long to print on the check fully. I provided photo ID and everything matched. The manager told me "it was too good to be true" and when I asked what that meant she shook her head and said it is policy blah blah blah but if you have an account here I can deposit. In other words, she will break the policy if I had an account. Why would I open an account with such horrible service treating me like a criminal? The check was drawn under their bank....unbelievable how people have no common sense or decency seeing that it was an unemployment check and my child was in the back seat they told me to call unemployment ðŸ‘

Terrible. I've done business with Santander for 15 years. They recently closed my usual branch at which I had a great relationship with everyone. I tried this branch which has forced me to wait three days to clear funds for a CASHIERS CHECK from ANOTHER BANK. They treated me like I was trying to rob the place with a fake check. All they had to do was call the other bank to confirm the check, and that isn't even necessary for a cashiers check (that's why you go to the trouble to get a cashiers check). Instead they treated me like I was suspicious and did nothing to help. I'll move my business.
