I was on my Petsmart account looking at the Grooming Department where they show pictures and statements of various Groomers implying they are at that specific location. I had been searching for a Groomer so I decided to call the Chelmsfor,MA location. BIG MISTAKE! HUGE! The young Groomer I spoke with to get information was EXTREMELY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and discourteous when I mentioned the Groomer Profiles on the PETSMART Website! She yelled at me insinuating I was ignorant and on the wrong website because Petsmart doesn't do that and hung up on me! When I called to report her to the Store Manager right away he had EVERY excuse in the book for her inexcusable behavior and hung up on me as well when I said I'm not tolerating this kind of customer service BS! This was the WORST start to my day hoping to find a NICE place to bring my 12 year old "girl" for some KINDNESS!! NEVER!!!!

I love bringing my Dachshund puppy to doggy daycare. Every time she comes she is always soooo happy to be there. The girls who take care of her are consistent and my pup absolutely loves them as well. She has separation anxiety usually but when it comes to going to doggy daycare she does not.

I shop at pet smart but I have a cat not a dog. However the whole facility seems well run. I would spend some time checking it out if it meets your needs

I've never had my dogs groomed there since I've heard too many bad things about grooming at Pet Smart in General. Erin the Trainer is amazing. It's about the only reason to go into the store at this point. I primary send my dogs to Doggie Day Care. I used to board here but there were far too many complaints from other pet owners and my dogs, both veteran travelers and boarders, would come back shellshocked. Pet Smart recently decided that there would be no staff overnight with the dogs. Chelmsford claims to be one of the busiest Pet Smarts in New England but they are completely comfortable just leaving your pets by themselves. If anything happens, you're on your own. They advertise that they have 24/7 staff....at select locations. Chelmsford is no longer one of those locations. Pet Smart doesn't care about your pets and are willing to put them in jeopardy to save a buck. I'm no longer bringing my dogs here and will go to another local place for my dogs to play during the day.

Been going here for many many years. customer service has never been their strong suit. but this girl Alyssa I just could not handle it. From the moment she started talking it was all about how difficult it would be for her. she was not helpful at all in helping me to decide what to do with my new puppys hair. she kept asking me questions like i know how to groom a dog and was irritated when had no idea how to answer her questions. as far as i know this store closes at 9 but after she goes through all the complaining when checking my dog she barks at me that i better be there by 8pm because thats when she goes home. My son had a concert so again i was taking a minute to think how i would make this all happen and shes barks again at me are you going to be here by 8? it was 5 pm. how about you just assume im not going to abandon my dog with you. i get back there around 6:45 to check in to see how they are doingand it just became so clear she had no idea what she was doing. she could jot finish my dog. But she didnt say that at first. she asked me what i wanted to do. I walked away feom the counter to think about it so she could deal with another customer and she yells where r u going. where do u think im going you have my dog. why are you always so angry alyssa? I wish i could say her attitude didn't get the best of me but it did. i had to miss my soms band performance to get my dog groomed. i was willing to do that. But she couldnt do the job. so I grabbed my dog and left. im at my sons band concert now. Sorry im not paying to be treated like an a$$ and my dog looks worse.

I've been bringing my dog her for over 2 years. We use day camp, boarding, grooming and training . I have never had an issue. The staff is friendly and they always do a great job caring for our pup Ollie. The manager goes out of his way to make sure the customers are satisfied.

Grooming service has gone down hill in recent months. What used to be a pretty good experience has gotten very bad. In the past you would get your dog back and ready for pick up in 4 hours, it's now like 6+ hours. They cancelled my last appointment because a groomer called in sick. Two groomer that I had used in the past quite working there and are now at other grooming shops. As I understand it, the working conditions are not good for the groomers, which make sense as to why groomers are leaving. Too bad the place is so poorly managed, Also, we boarded our dogs there in July. We packed plenty of food for their stay, measures it to be sure, and packed a little more just in case and included specific feeding instructions on the amount to feed them. We got a call from PS the day before we were scheduled to pick them up and they told us they ran out of the food we provided. This was not possible if they cared enough to follow the specific instructions we left for them. Anyway seriously considering not using PetSmart in the future. I have already found another grooming shop and now looking for place to board my precious pups in the future. Beware!

petsmart in Chelmsford is the worst, do not bring your pets there the staff is rude the manager had no answers as to why they had a policy in place on their website but omitted information ?? we had a reservation for the doggy hotel seemed nice but my gut instant was correct they failed to accept my bets paperwork on the day of mind you 5 minutes before check in my pet had all her vaccine's up to date but they still need one 48 hours in advanced which we had but missed by 15 minute!!! 15 minutes. will never set foot in this place again nor any of their stores. pet o has been awesome buyer be aware we were no the only ones not happy that day a few other people were on a heated argument with these so called people never again.

DO NOT BOARD HERE. They did not give my dog time to adjust to a new environment. They called within 24 hours and wanted me to pick him up.

Service is getting worse at this store in Chelmsford. I've shopped there for years. Managers don't care about the customer... I have more to express but saving my energy. Today they lost a customer!!

Fix your kennels. My dogs nail got ripped off. Don't recommend going here unless you want to just get your dog groomed and then he is under anesthesia all of a sudden. Don't go here!

I brought my dog to the Pet Hotel for 3 nights. Do not board your dog here! My dog was traumatized and for the next week she had horrible anxiety. They also did not feed her pre measured food but dumped it into one container. I had packed her extra wet food which did not return home at the end of the stay. They also gave her zero of her dog treats I had packed my dog. Upon pick up, my dog's fur was all wet like she was laying in her own pee. I tried calling 3 times the first night of her stay and nobody answered the phone. I called the second day and the girl said it was her first closing shift alone (aka understaffed). She assured me that my dog was fine now but a little anxious at first. When I picked her up another employee stated that I should get a quiet room next time as she was so anxious the entire time. Why didn't the other girl tell me this on the phone?! There will be no next time. If my dog was so nervous they should have called me and told me. I spoke with the "manager" of the pet hotel on the phone and she said she would call the store and look into this matter. No call was ever returned. I think at least they owed me a full refund. Pay the extra $20 a night to go to a higher quality boarding place.
