Would have gone with zero star if that was an option. Its a ripe off..... Dont waste your time. She might end up charging you for talking too !! She spend less than 10 mins with me for understanding requirements of length alternation. She quoted a high $$$ amount and I decided not to go for the service. At this point with her hands on my dress, she asked for fees for her time and charged me towards no service !!!!!!!

I've been to Katerina's several times to have pants hemmed and clothes taken in. The ladies are great and everything has been perfect. Would highly recommend Katerina's for tailoring.

I got my prom dress altered here about 4 years ago and I thought she did a good job. The straps were shortened and the dress was taken in, costing around $20. I came here this time to get my suit jacket taken in and the zipper fixed on a dress. My sister gets her suit jackets taken in here all the time, and it had always cost her around $10-$15, so I expected that. When I came in, she pinned the jacket and then wrote on the receipt that it would cost $35. That seems a bit much for just some taking in of a blazer and could go towards the cost of buying a brand new blazer. When I asked her why it was that much, she didn't really have an answer. So I decided to just have the dress done. It was a brand new dress that had an iffy zipper. I brought it in with the price tag still on it, in the event that it's not fixable, I would return it. She stated it would be an easy fix with no need for a new zipper. I just picked it up, and nothing seems changed; in fact, it seems worse. The hole that was in the zipper is still there and she cut the price tag off (even though it wasn't in the way of the zipper). When I informed her that I'm still having the same trouble with the zipper, she and her co-worker didn't even move from their seats to see what the issue might be, or what could be done to fix it. She just said "if it's still not fixed it needs a new zipper." Even though that's not what she said originally, and has already cut the price tag off so I can't return it. I do believe they tailor well but I do not appreciate their business practices and will not be returning.

I just had my daughter's prom dress altered. The women are completely professional and highly skilled - the dress fit her perfectly. The prices were reasonable, and the job was completed on time. I would recommend Katerina's without reservation.

I've been going to Katerina's for several years now, mostly to get pants hemmed. They always do a great job, and the prices are reasonable. Turn around time is usually about a week, sometimes a bit longer during the busy prom season. There was a period of time in which I had been losing a lot of weight, and I wanted some recently purchased items taken in so that I could continue to wear them. Katerina's altered several dresses, skirts, and pants so that they fit again perfectly. They are closed Sunday and Monday, but open until 7pm on Thursdays, and until 2pm on Saturdays. Getting onto 110 after parking in front can be a bit tricky, but there is a small lot in back of the building so you can drive around the back to pull straight onto 110 rather than having to back into traffic; or if you have a small enough car it is possible to maneuver a three point turn in front of the building.

I've been here several times in the past few years and have always been extremely satisfied with the tailoring, fair prices, and professionalism. Located next to a Walgreen's on Route 110, Katerina's is a two-person operation. Every time I've come here, the two employees (I assume owner and employee) have been hard at work at their sewing machines. The place has two dressing rooms in the front, the sewing machine area on the left, and ready-to-work-on items hanging in the front. There were tons of items, especially since it's the beginning of prom season. I was last here about 2 years, when I brought in my daughter's dress, whose zipper had ripped; she was going to be wearing that gown the upcoming weekend. I purchased the zipper and thread, to save time, and I was able to pick up the garment two days later. Beautiful job. Of course. And not expensive, considering the rush job. This time around, I brought in the skirt to a fancy suit that I will be wearing in a few weeks. Katerina pinned the sides and I was on my way. The skirt is lined, too, so I was surprised at the inexpensive quote. Will be picking up the skirt in a couple of weeks and have no doubt that all will be perfect. (They do not do alterations on bridal gowns or bridesmaid dresses, but they work on men's clothing, too.) Hint: I suggest parking at the Walgreen's next door, since parking directly in front of Katerina's would require backing out directly into traffic when you're done at the shop.
