This is my favorite store in Chatham! The sales team was lovely and so accommodating to our family, including our boisterous one year old! I found many of my favorite brands there and will definitely be back the next time I’m in Chatham!

I cannot say enough about the customer service here. I had bought online only to find out that they were offering 50.00 for in store shopping. The sales agent (Megan) in the Chatham store not only honored the discount she helped me pick out some items that were out of stock , wrapped the items and sent it to me. I’ve never had such a great customer experience like this. I’d give Puritan 10 stars ⭐️!!!!!

the employees in this store should be ashamed of themselves ! i came into the store on 6/27 looking for a dress for a wedding that evening, it was an emergency ! i was wearing just my street clothes, as i had come from working in my workshop- just shorts and an old tee shirt. upon walking in, the young man and older woman at the front desk across from the front door made eye contact, put their heads down and didn't say hello or one single word. i was searching through the racks for a dress, and no one offered to help or even acknowledged my existence, or even said hello. after a couple of minutes, a couple came in, dressed in lululemon and vineyard vines. they were immediately greeted, and asked if they needed assistance. after that, many more people came in that were clearly from away and visiting, in fancy clothes and were greeted and helped. this is the SECOND time this has happened to me IN THIS STORE !!! needless to say, i went down the street to Lily Pulitzer, where i was greeted immediately by a young woman, who helped me pull 3 dresses, which i purchased. that was 1,000 dollars you could have made at your store, but i would NEVER support a business that is judge mental and rude ! the last time i came in, i was also in street clothes, wanting to purchase some vineyard vines outfits for my boyfriend that i saw in the window. again, i walked in, made eye contact with the sales associates, but nothing- not even a hi or hello. i instead went online and purchased the outfits from there. so disappointing and RUDE ! never judge a book by its cover, just because people aren't wearing fancy clothes doesn't mean they can't afford what's in your store ! i will never ever shop here, and will let people know of the judge mental staff.

I've been a customer of this shop since high school. I still have the first two neckties I purchased. While I usually shop at their Hyannis location, which is larger, their Chatham store is usually worth at least a few minutes of browsing in the event you might find something to update your wardrobe. If you can hold your breath through their suggestive selling, it's even better.

If you are on the Cape, Puritan is where you need to go to get your Cape style - classic preppy, beach days, casual elegance or grandmother chic. Our favorite Puritan is in Chatham

Excellent selection of upscale women’s, men’s, and some children’s clothing. Vineyard Vines, Velvet, Vuori are a few of the lines they carry. Starting to get fall/winter coasts and jackets in stock. Not inexpensive but lovely store: clean, neat, and quiet.

Great selection of Vineyard Vines, Johnnie-O and Harding Lane clothing in Chatham. They usually have some of the local-only Vineyard Vine long sleeve t-shirts so check early in the season to see what they have in stock.
