Went to Roberto to get the muffler and exhaust replaced. He proceeded to charge me $150 more than what he estimated, and put on a loud fart can muffler that I could not use. When I told him the muffler was too loud, he assured me he would replace it to my satisfaction. I called him two weeks later and he wants more money to do the replacement, even though the new replacement he found is the same cost.Don't ever go here. I will never return. They had one month to fix their mistake and instead are still trying to get more money out of me.

Called Uno Auto Repair on Saturday, September 24, 2022, and inquired if someone could take a look at our car as we thought it was either a battery or an alternator problem. The person who answered the phone said sure, and to bring the car at noon. So we did. We were greeted outside by a friendly mechanic who clearly stated nothing would be charged in order to determine whether our vehicles issue was with the battery or with the alternator. We gave him our key and we took the car upstairs and left. A couple of hours later we received a phone call from the manager of this auto repair shop, Roberto Martinez. Roberto started saying that he needed to install a special battery, “the same special battery I use in my wife and my daughter’s cars”, and that it would not be ready until Monday, and there was nothing wrong with the alternator. Every time I try to speak to him about getting the battery ourselves and saving him the hassle of garaging our car for several days he interrupted me and it didn’t seem like he understood what I was saying. So I had my husband call him back. He told my husband it was going to be over $400 for a special battery, for a 2000 Volvo ( dealership quoted $200). He became enraged that my husband was suggesting we pay him for labor and bring him the battery today to save everybody time and money and said come and get the car right now. When we came to get the car, he refused to start it for us so we need to leave and go get a jump pack and then come back to start the car. Then he demanded that we give him his business card back because he told us to “never come anywhere” near his shop again. The mechanic who originally greeted us was also agreeing that it would be no problem for us to pick up the battery and bring it to them and still pay for the cost of labor, but said that his boss, Roberto, refused. My husband directly asked Roberto, “so you’re trying to overcharge us for the battery because this is how you run your shop?” He said “yes it is”. We tried to give the mechanic cash to say thank you for ascertaining the problem and let him know we appreciate it, but he started shouting “don’t give him (the mechanic) anything!”. The mechanic brought our car downstairs for us after we started it and we handed him some cash to say thank you and we are definitely not ever going back there. From what it seems like, they have really great mechanics and the worst boss I’ve ever met. Don’t give this guy any money.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP! These guys are completely incompetent, not only are they attempting a 200% markup on OEM products but then they try to charge labor. They have consistently misdiagnosed vehicles only to draw them back for further robbery. Avoid this place at all cost, this is the exact shop that the news warns you about. If you use this place to fix your vehicle you will be robbed and your vehicle will still be broken. I hope the BBB shuts this place down or someone starts a class action. The manager should be fired and investigated for fraud and embezzlement. SHUT IT DOWN, DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

BEST GUY EVER! I had two blown out tires right in front of this shop and they close at 2pm on saturdays and I ran inside at 1:56pm and asked him if he could put two new tires on as I worked that day. He said yes!!!! And with a Fair price. They ended up dropping my car off at my work for me while I was at work when it was finished because they would be closed when I got out of work at night. I didn’t even have to come get it. WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ME! Maria the receptionist is the best too!!!!Service: Tires

These guys are great. They fit me in on a Saturday afternoon totally last minute. Straight forward pricing and right next to the Holiday Inn. Get your brakes done while you sit next to the pool. I haven’t driven my car yet since they did the repair so this is a customer service only review, but 5 stars for that. Super nice folks with good communication.

SCAMMED! DO NOT GO IF FEMALE/DO NOT KNOW A LOT ABOUT CARS Went to get my oil changed with the 44.95 price on their pamphlet. They then charged me 90 dollars and I asked why he and said because the other price was for 4 cylinder and I had a new car so I didn't question it. After research and seeing my car is 4 cylinder I went back in and told him. Without hesitating he just hands me 40 dollars in cash to make up for it. SCAM do not go especially if you are a female or you do not know about cars they will try to trick you. I have never been so disappointed in a car place! I do not write reviews but felt compelled so other women and people will not be scammed!
