The CorePower in Charlestown is great! There is a large parking lot making this studio very accessible for being located in a city. The studio facilities are well-kept and always seem clean. I particularly enjoy the 8:15 PM "Candlelight Yoga" with Sam G. As a newbie Yogi, Sam's class felt approachable and she always provided ways to scale poses to make them easier or more challenging. Just be ready for some upbeat core moves! After months and now years at Corepower, I have really progressed and feel incredible in my body. I picked up Yoga after years of weightlifting, and now no more back, knee, or shoulder problems - guys should definitely try it! Thank you CorePower & Sam G.!!

Will never got to this place again. Was just treated with an outrageous level of unprofessionalism, for which I might the person was wrong. I live directly across the street from CorePowerYoga Charkestown and will NEVER go here again. If you want to get treated with outright disrespect and embarrassment (again this person was wrong ) then go to CorePower Yoga Charlestown. Additionally they do NOTHING for the community except offer $185 monthly membership. I’ve spent THOUSANDS with CorePower, and as a result of the way I was just treated, I’ll NVER spend a dime with them again. AVOID like the plague. WAY Better options in the area. Looking forward to Mystryde.

Extremely disappointed to say the least. I showed up a little early for class one day and of course it was freezing this time of year. The door was locked, and the blonde girl who runs the place Annie, was inside walking around on her cellphone up and down the hall and in the lobby. I sat there knocking and she looked at me several times and ignored me. She actually seemed annoyed & rolled her eyes that I was bothering or interrupting her call on her phone. It would have taken one second to walk over and let me in, out of the cold. Finally a couple mins later she lazily came over unlocked it and didn’t say a word, just gave me a rude look, then walked into the back. She was also acting weird and swaying a bit as if she was high or intoxicated. Highly unprofessional, rude and probably shouldn’t have been on her cell phone or ignoring paying customers. I won’t be back.

The instructor here was sooooo nice and welcoming. The location is a little hidden/hard to get to though. The studio itself was ok-ish - definitely not on par (and as HOT) as the Medford one, but I would come back here. It's also not a far walk from the T!

Billing policies are outrageous. Be careful with all of the fine print as they will hold you to that and give you no billing notice or flexibility with payment or covid policies. Classes are fantastic but customer service could use a serious revamp.

Extremely disgusting customer service was told that I could not go to the bathroom several times throughout the hot yoga even though it was my first time. Also they did not notify me of the $15 miss class fee. I was having an appointment that had come up and I had asked for the bathroom several times even though my phone is plugged outside and I was told that I could not go back into the studio to look for my earbuds due to the fact they were in class which was fine however I did pay for that class. By the end of the class the brand new year but were not retrieved however I was told that I was not welcome back even though I was simply looking for my earbuds I live in the Navy I love their my whole life I have plenty of experience is positive and negative we’re going to public gyms but this by far was the worst. Having security tell me that people felt uncomfortable by me it was very astonishing considering the fact that prior to that they were offering you a position as part-time help. I also am good friends of mine steel coordinators so the whole thing seemed a bit odd to me that the direct oryx you need District Manager was telling me that people were complaining about me. When I asked about what they said simply that I was just going to the bathroom too much for that maybe I should put a better shirt on a sports bra it just got very uncomfortable. I have a medical condition and it makes me go to the bathroom often because of the medication I am on that is awesome necessarily would need to have a share of the yoga studio but these women seem like they own a cult. As a resident of the Navy Yard for 27 years I have never been treated it so poorly by Jim folk in my life. The fact that they had a spoken with with me about a locker that I accidentally talk and then I brought back the next day was just extremely bizarre to me considering the fact that I was bringing back anything I was liable for. However the brand new earphones I got were not give them back to me. Instead I was greeted by security saying that they don’t want me enjoying the studio I proceeded to ask them to take both of my cards on file which I realize and discovered that they had created duplicate profiles of my name and my card. I would advise anyone and anyone that has consideration for money or sensitive medical conditions not to go there

Great job reopening! Felt very safe-and everything was so clean! There were clear markers on where to place your mat, and they took the extra step to distance everyone from each other more than they had to. Well done Charlestown CPY!

The Charlestown location opened at the end of 2019! It is a little bit hidden/can be tricky to find as it's located in a hallway area. Walk past Whole Foods and CVS, and it'll be on your right hand side. There's a women's and men's changing room with ample bathrooms and lockers for you to use. At this location, there is only one yoga studio (aka only one class offered at a time) but it's pretty large! As with all other CPY studios, there are blocks and straps in the back or side. Additionally, they have sanitation wipes and sprays for you to use to clean off your equipment. The front area has clothing for sale (good variety with brands like Lululemon and Alo Yoga). If you forget your mat, they can rent you one for $2! Instructors are really kind and listen to your concerns and feedback on classes. As with other CPYs, the classes offered include a variety of yoga. Focusing on your basics? C1 is a great start. For a bit of a faster pace and more advanced yogi techniques? C2 Yoga + cardio + strength training with weights? Yoga Sculpt Enjoy! :)
