We've stayed a few times now at the Warfield and its proximity to Berkshire East doesn't get any better. Clean and comfortable - and warm! The staff are super helpful and responsive to email and phone.Nearby activities: Berkshire East ski mountain is literally a few minutes drive from the Warfield.

Great stay in the middle of a hill with one of the most gorgeous views in the Berkshire that I have ever had. Quiet, cozy and nature-surrounded environment that will make your stay as close as possible to a bucolic dream! Take the chance and you will not be disappointed.

Incredible views! Only one thing I wish is that there was temperature control for each room individually. Other than that, amazing. Stayed for a wedding weekend and want to go back someday for a romantic weekend with my fiancé

This place is sweet. We got to enjoy the venue for the first of their Sugar Shack music series featuring folk artist Reed Foehl. The site, snugged up along the shoulder of Mount Warfield, and enjoying soaring views of the valleys and mountains, is a drop-dead gorgeous setting for an outdoor gathering. Fall colors from here are astonishing. To these ends, we enjoyed a well-prepared buffet-style barbecue dinner and drinks on a pair of generous string-lighted outdoor patios, one tented and open-sided, and the adjoining one accessible by a short stair and open to all views and abutted by low hedges and plantings. Heat lamps were provided at regular intervals to mitigate the bite of an autumn evening. The staff were well-prepared, warm, chatty, and generous throughout (they improvised kids’ drinks and came cruising with trays of extra cornbread), and the intimacy for a music event was unparalleled.

We hosted our wedding at Warfield, and cannot reccomend it enough. The rooms are all stylish, comfortable, clean and come with every amenity needed. The views are unparalleled, the sunrises over the valley were a very memorable part of our stay. The wedding space (ceremony lawn and pavilion) exceeded our expectations and wowed all of our guests. We comfortably seated 100 and had room to spare. The staff were all wonderful; Alan the beverage manager went above and beyond with his willingness to specially curate our event, the bartenders were friendly, efficient, & had a knowledge of mixology, and Katy!!! Enough cannot be said about Katy who does the event management, she is so organized, detail oriented & trustworthy. From our first meeting we knew that Katy would be our wedding rockstar, she worked so well with all of our vendors and it all went smoothly because she was there. Warfield is a hidden gem!

We had our wedding at the Warfield House on 5/14/2022. Katy, the on-site wedding coordinator, worked with us for several months to make our day special and everything we wanted it to be - and it was absolutely everything we wanted it to be! I'll start with the overview and get into the specifics:Overview: The venue is gorgeous, the natural beauty of the mountains is breathtaking (even if you live locally, as we do), and the groundskeepers do a fantastic job with flowerbeds and lawn care. Despite her busy schedule, Katy was knowledgeable, accommodating, and gave us everything we needed. Food (Crazy Horse, part of Berkshire East & the Warfield) was delicious, and every guest left stuffed and raving about the steak (not always the case at weddings). We had our wedding party stay on-site at the Inns, which were extremely clean, well-kept, and very comfortable - complete with full kitchens, private bathrooms for most rooms, and comfortable living rooms for social hours. Every guest loved our wedding experience from start to end, and my wife was so thrilled with everything. I can't recommend this place enough, especially for the price (more details at the end).Venue: The Warfield sits on top of a beautiful mountain with a great view of the surrounding mountains and hills. The garden and lawn are always pristine and groomed (even in winter), making the entire place picturesque all year. So much so that I personally felt like we didn't need to order many of our own flowers in fear that the flowers we ordered would draw attention away from the natural beauty of the surrounding area! We chose to have private vows at the small pond, which was perfect. Each guest raved about the beauty of the surrounding mountains and the cleanliness of the venue.Lodging: The Inns on-site were perfect for hosting the wedding party! The beds were extremely comfortable, and each house was cleaned spotless for our arrival. The kitchens were great for hosting brunches and dinners in the days leading up to the wedding, and it was a fantastic option to prevent our guests from driving home intoxicated. Overall, it was way better than any hotel and by far the best option for hosting our wedding party.Food & Drink: We chose to go with Alan & the Crazy Horse for our food and drink. The food was so great! Everybody raved about the steaks, which were soft, tender, and melted right in your mouth. The salmon (which I had) was cooked to perfection. Even our vegan option (quinoa confetti) was highly sought after! We chose to have an open bar. Alan recommended our "his and hers" drinks (ginger bourbon Manhattans and strawberry smash), which were huge hits! They also offered a great selection of local beers!Service: Katy and Alan did a wonderful job taking care of my wife and I from start to finish. We really felt heard the entire time, and they both took such good care of us - making sure we had time to eat and taking care of all of the hard things for us on the day of the wedding so we could enjoy ourselves.Pricing: The pricing is unbeatable. For everything we had - food, lodging for the entire place for 3 days, open bar, brunch the following morning, venue fees, flowers, etc. - we ended up spending around $30K. Without the extras (lodging, brunch, open bar), our wedding would have easily been under 20K, and even less had we chosen to make a few other sacrifices (as I said, the place is beautiful without most decorations and "extras"). EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE!!

Newly renovated Inn on a hillside overlooking Bershire East ski area that was impeccably clean, cozy, and comfortable. Please note the road to the Inn is a steep hill and can get ice at times. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay!

We did not really stay in this hotel but an associate kindly showed us inside, it looked pleasant, we will consider it for the next skiing season. The area is absolutely splendid, with stunning views on Berkshire East Skiing area and surrounding Berkshires. The place is very quiet, turkeys were roaming around and it also had a farm with interesting cattle. A very special place!

My husband and I booked the Warfield House Inn for our wedding venue right before Covid hit. We were devastated when we heard we had to cancel, and we didn't want to wait, so we had a small wedding in NH and had our reception on our 1 year wedding anniversary at the WHI. Let me tell you, the place is STUNNING. Gorgeous view of Berkshire East. Katy (the organizer) is absolutely amazing at her job (and patient, might I add!), the bartender at our wedding that they provided was awesome, the Inn's are so clean and beautiful (we stayed in the main house) ... I could go on forever. We were so incredibly happy with our experience here. 10/10 recommend you get married here. It's absolutely magical and you won't regret it!

Clean with beautiful farm views and views looking out at the slopes of Berkshire East. I own a lodging venue and often recommend the Warfield House Inn, and now I am staying here and am having an enjoyable stay! Really super clean and well stocked with essentials. Recently renovated with professional interior design which I love! And the peaceful farm views are so relaxing!

The views are excellent, the location is convenient and the beds super comfortable, but the WiFi didn’t work (which they couldn’t seem to fix) and the rooms are a little quirky. Also there seems to be central air ducts, but they don’t work and the window units upstairs are incredibly noisy. We were lucky to have the entire bungalow house to ourselves, otherwise the kids who had the extended room of the bungalow suite would have to exit their room to ours via the hallway to use the bathroom while there is another guest room on the floor. Also there is no AC in the ‘adjoining room’ which is very odd. Was also pleased there was breakfast in the kitchen, but it is nothing spectacular. For the price, more is expected, but we had a pleasant stay.

We stayed here this past weekend on Saturday night, 9/28. It is a recently remodeled home which is very nice and well maintained. There is not much in the way of a concierge but the place was quiet and clean with excellent views and much nicer than anything else in Charlemont or Shelburne Falls. We will definitely be returning.
