Spoke to a gentleman today on how to clean my Hotpoint washing machine. There is a lot of gooy gunk in the bottom of the fabric dispenser tube. I was told that can not be clean and to leave it alone. HUH? I called General Electric and in 3 mintues they told exactly what to do.. If you guy are going to sell equipment you really should know how it works. I bought this from you 3 years ago.

When we had trouble with our stove from GE Appliances [which is no longer owned by GE], Matt Lambert at Lambco was a tremendous help. When the intermittent problem recurred after the end of the one-year (!) warranty, he helped us get it treated as under warranty and asked us to keep him updated: "I don't want to sell bad products." When it failed again a week after the third "fix", just before Thanksgiving, his first question was "Are you entertaining for Thanksgiving?" That's the reaction of a decent human. Then he gave us more advice on handling GE Appliances. At the seventh visit from the long-suffering repairman (he just replaced bad electronics with new bad electronics from GE Appliances--not his fault!), GE Appliances admitted the stove was unrepairable, and they would give us a deep discount on another stove. In this time (2021-2022) of supply chain difficulties, that replacement was not a priority to GE Applicances until Matt called Dealer Relations--twice--and advocated for us. We are eternally grateful to Matt.

Further to my recent post, I am well into my 70's. I am a big time cancer patient at MGH. A little bit of help would have been greatly appreciated. Had Matt had the decency to offer me a chance to take down the molding to gain the necessary clearance and a free re-delivery before I asked for the refund, I would certainly have been pleased and a happy customer. I would have written a glowing review. But the thrill was gone.

LAMBCO Appliance Problems I bought a dishwasher from LAMBCO Appliance in Cataumet and paid an additional $200 for installation. Imagine my surprise when the screws intended to secure the washer dropped out. The washer was not attached to the cabinet frame, it was simply setting inside the counter cabinet. When I contacted the owner of LAMBCO, Mr. Lambert, and detailed my complaint and request for a proper installation, I was told they would do nothing as the date of the installation service exceeded their one-month warranty. Such a warranty was never included in the invoice and what reputable company has such a limited period to correct for such shoddy service? I'll buy my appliances elsewhere. Lambco is wonderful to work with! Their customer service is excellent and Mathew in the Cataumet location goes out of his way to make sure the customer experience is more than positive! They are attentive, on time with service calls and knowledgeable. I can’t recommend Lambco highly enough!

The Absolute Worst! Please read before shopping at Lambco. I bought a refrigerator from the Attleboro store in August of 2019. First week of July of 2020 the ice maker and water dispenser stop working, so I call Lambco to set up a warranty repair. Kevin, the service manager, tells me they're busy so the tech won't be able to come out for a few weeks - we make an appointment for 8/1. The tech comes out 8/1, looks at the fridge for a few minutes and decides the water pump is broken but he doesn't have one with him, so he'll have to order it. He warns me that it usually takes a few days but could be longer due to Covid (no problem, I understand). I wait a week and hear nothing, so I call, and Kevin tells me they forgot to order the part, but he'll order it now... Another week goes by, no status update from Lambco, so I call back and talk with Matt, who puts me on hold for about 8 minutes (which becomes the theme of all my calls going forward) and tells me maybe next week, "they'll call me" (doesn't ever happen). I call once a week from 8/1 to 9/2 and I'm told it's going to be a few more days each time. 9/2/20 (still no call from Lambco) I call again and speak with Matt who tells me Kevin is out, but he'll have him call me in the morning. I tell Matt that I have yet to receive a call from anyone and that I'd like to talk to a manager. He gets real stern with me and says, "I TOLD YOU I'LL HAVE HIM CALL YOU TOMORROW". I explain again that I've heard this too many times with no call, so I'd like to talk to a manager. Matt now gets very aggressive and condescending and tells me, "FINE, I'LL CALL YOU TOMORROW". I say that I appreciate that, but I still want to talk to a manager. He refuses to give me the name of a manager and rudely reiterates that he'll "CALL ME TOMORROW". At this point I've had enough of Lambco, so I call Maytag customer service and they agree to handle the repair going forward and set up an appointment for the next day. Within an hour of hanging up with Maytag the new appliance repair company calls to confirm the appointment and learn about the situation. They let me know that the water pump that Lambco "is still waiting for" wasn't ever on backorder, and there's actually 37 in stock at the local supplier right now - and Lambco had to wait a month? This means they'll be able to fix the problem when they come out the next day (9/3/20). Kevin from Lambco calls me at 8am on 9/3/20 (finally a call back from Lambco!) and tells me the part came in that morning and he can schedule the repair for the following week. I explain that someone was coming to fix it that day and they said the part was readily available, so I won't have to wait for the repair. Kevin says, "YEAH I MADE IT ALL UP" and hangs up on me (usually this is where the apology goes, but I was hung up on, again). My refrigerator was repaired within 24 hours of calling Maytag (2 months with Lambco), and by the way, the water pump was fine! It was a bad water filter! The new tech replaced the filter and my fridge works perfectly. Lambco was the absolute worst customer service experience I've ever encountered! I hope this review saves someone from the frustration I had to go through.

I had a wonderful experience with Matt at Lambco in Bourne. I was in desperate need of a range and had looked up on the internet for ranges, but because of the virus the companies were all giving me two to three weeks out on delivery. Called Matt after my appliance repair gentleman suggested him and he went out of his way to help me. Located the color and model I was looking for and said he could deliver in four days. All over the phone due to the virus. He was as good as his word and the men who delivered were the nicest and most understanding. They allowed me time to look over the range before bring it in and allowed me time to clean the floor under the old range before putting in the new one. I would highly recommend Lambco and Matt to anyone in need of an appliance. Thank you, Matt and Lambco! J H of E. Sandwich

My son needed a new dishwasher &, because he bought a chest freezer here, he decided to go back to look at their dishwashers. The employee was very friendly & knowledgeable, pointing out the differences between the units my son looked at. He ended up buying one, they gave him the sale price, even though the sale was over, it is a very good appliance & it comes with a $50 rebate. This place is a good old fashioned "mom & pop" store.
