I love Pastene crushed tomatoes. They are the brand you see being used in a lot of Boston restaurants. I moved to Florida a few years ago and could not make decent marinara until they recently started carrying it at Publix, I am so happy! I can finally make delicious sauce again!

I was very disappointed to see that the Pitted Castelvetrano olives are not Castelvetrano olives AT ALL, but Cerignola olives. Why not just call them pitted Cerignola olives? When Pastene saw this review they called, they addressed my concerns, and they are making changes. How cool is that?
Since 1874 the name Pastene has stood for quality, purity and good taste. Generations of Italians know and love Pastene products as real ethnic Italian cuisine at its finest. This has been achieved by insisting on very strict product quality and developmental standards. Pastene has never compromised its high standards. That's why our customers have been our customers for generations.
