I’ve been a customer for over 4 years. Since Covid the service has been terrible, but I’ve extended them grace. Grooming my small Shih Tzu takes a minimum of 4-5 hours every time even though she is always completely shaved, so it should not take that long. Today I dropped her off for her 1pm appointment and showed up for her at 5:30. She was still not ready and in a cage while they took care of another dog that was two hours late to their appt. Instead of a sincere apology, or offer of a discount for a loyal customer’s inconvenience, I got excuses and ended up simply not tipping for the first time even after waiting in the parking lot for over an hour and a half. I’m sure my dog is thirsty, hungry and just annoyed. Unfortunately never returning. Of course I trusted them these last 4 years but todays inconsideration and the constant overbooking and slow service has resulted in me finding a new groomer.Drop off 1pmAttempted pick up at 5:30Didn’t leave until 7pm

Everywhere I go, I always Google. Dog gone had top reviews & same day service. Desperately needed since our dog was a walking shedding fur ball. So impressed with great service & Luna smells great!

I moved from out of state and it’s been so hard to find a groomer for my Pomeranian. The first one didn’t do so great and the second place let the dogs run around free while they groomed other dogs and my dog was attacked. She came home with scratches by her eye and on her head. Also they cut her belly while grooming. When I picked her up she was scared and anxious and I never went back. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to find Dog Gone Gorgeous. They were able to accommodate me on short notice, and they keep the dogs in kennels. They’re very organized, the place is clean, it smells so good when you walk in, the staff is friendly and professional and best of all, they treated my pomeranian like their own. Her haircut was GORGEOUS. She came out happy and energetic, and without any cuts or scrapes. Needless to say I will only be going here from now on, 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! If you want the very best for your fur baby, bring them here!’

We have had our Great Pyrenees/Golden male in for grooming and nail trims twice. They are very kind and do a good job with Bjorns' dew claws. He comes home so handsome and exhausted after spending the day barking at the Irish Setters! Prices are good. Easy to get an appointment. Highly recommend.

I wanted to update my review. The owner reached out to me once she realized what had happened. She could not have been more apologetic or empathetic to the situation. She totally took care of us and he got the best haircut he has ever had and we are so happy to be back. Very caring owner who is proud of her successful business as she should be. Everyone makes mistakes, but she fixed it properly and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. THRILLED

We have been grooming our dogs, Collies and Pomeranians, for nearly fifteen years (maybe more) with them and, obviously we could not be any happier with our experience! Shellie and her staff are careful, attentive and listen to our preferences.....whatever we want the length or cut to be, we get...short or long, when we drop them off, she always asks" what look do you want?". Our pets always enjoy being there, her Irish Setters are in the shop and our pets seem to really enjoy being there with them. She always presents us with a perfect looking critter or critters! they look terrific in every instance. she is careful when clipping nails, giving them little bows and making them perfect in every aspect. She also asks if you want to set the next appointment, picks a convenient date and gives a reminder card. . We have had a few " uncooperative" dogs in the mix but they handle them perfectly.... When asked for a groomer, we always say..." Shellie and Doggone Gorgeous , on 138, right over the line in Canton....always"

We love this place! I have an 11 year old blind, diabetic dog and wouldn't trust anyone else with her. They are very gentle, professional, and reasonably priced. They offer many different grooming services. Debbie takes care of our girl Lucy and always does a wonderful job! I highly recommend them.

Picked my dog up and he was cowering from me putting hands near him at all. Blood vessels popped in eyes. No explanation when questioned. Would NEVER sugggest this place. The person who does the grooming wouldn’t come out of the back to talk to me. Just hid.

The worst experience ever. After having left her there for more than 5 hours (!!) I took Sophie home even though the groomer had not finished. Sophie had spasmed twice there . Too stressed. And after all that - a terrible cut. Groomers were completely indifferent to dog.
