Laura made me feel comfortable, was honest, and got me back up to my normal range of motion in 3 sessions (with homework of course). She used a combination of stretching, core strengthening exercises, and worked my muscles with the Graston tool to get my lower back feeling normal again. She is thorough, knowledgeable, kind, and did not book me for more appointments than she felt I needed. I would recommend Laura to anyone in need of a physical therapist

Laura is a very good Physical Therapist. She helped me strengthen my knees and and lowered the pain I was having. Would highly recommend anyone to go see her for any PT needs!!

Laura is great - an intuitive expert. She has helped me with spine issues and not only understands the physical aspects of healing, she supports with the psychological aspects - providing encouragement and sometimes just listening. I highly recommend!

Just finished PT at Wood Associates after hip replacement surgery with excellent results. Not my first rodeo there, have had successful treatment for many years for post ACL surgery, shoulder and knee arthritis and always leave able to continue my daily life stronger, with more endurance and without pain. Highly recommend Laura without reservation.

I recently attended PT sessions with Laura (Wood Associates PT) after rotator/bicep surgery. I won’t lie, the recovery/PT was tough. She got me through a very tough time with amazing results. She was patient, knowledgeable and kept my spirits and therapy on track. Without a doubt, I credit a great surgeon and Laura for my remarkable results. I have been seeing Laura throughout many years for various issues that needed PT. She is always the one I go back to. She is an incredibly knowledgeable, experienced physical therapist with the best demeanor.

I highly recommend Wood Associates Physical Therapy. Laura is very knowledgeable, friendly but, also, professional. She spends the entire session with you while being very patient and encouraging. I have had other PT’s in the past but, Laura is, by far, the best.

Laura did a great job with me as I recovered from hip replacement. She listened carefully as I described my continuing symptoms and adjusted our sessions accordingly. She was attentive and respectful and showed a genuine interest in me and my progress.

Laura is terrific--knowledgeable, upbeat, very helpful. She gave me a set of exercises personalized to address my specific needs, checked to be sure I was doing them correctly, answered all my questions, and after a few sessions sent me on my way pain-free. Her assistant Agnetta is wonderful too--friendly and welcoming, very helpful with scheduling/billing. All good!

I had surgery to repair a torn tendon in my arm. My doctor gave me a list of places to get PT. I was so happy that I chose Laura at Wood Associates! Laura was a pleasure to work with, she was always in good spirits. I was able to quickly rebound in less sessions than planned. I'll miss talking about dogs and getting quality care!

I just graduated out of physical therapy after knee replacement surgery. The progress I made in just 4.5 weeks is amazing. Laura was terrific to work with – knowledgeable AND warm and caring. I'll miss seeing her twice a week, but I so appreciate having my mobility back. And, btw, the office location is very convenient (on Concord Ave in the Old Sancta Maria Hospital facility) and there is ample parking right outide the door.
