When I go to a comic book shop, I expect the staff to be knowledgeable. Million Year Picnic’s staff have an extremely diverse palette, and I always leave with new gems I never would have found on my own. Exemplars of the art form they are.

Picked up some great comics for my collection, some that I had been looking for and couldn’t find anywhere else. The owner was great, very helpful!

Great place and a really nice owner. Liked the old feel to the shop. Wish it was closer to where I live. It Would be on my places I would frequent more often , if I didn't hate the useless college kids and rude drivers all over cambridge.Everyone in a hurry to go nowhere . Store gets five stars. Cambridge gets 0
The Million Year Picnic is a comic shop, the oldest in New England. We were founded in the early 1970s. We sell new & used comics as well as trade paperback collections, graphic novels, & hardcovers. We also have a selection of t-shirts & toys. Subscribers who start a pull list with us get 20% off of the books & comics on their subscription list as a thank you for helping us determine how many books to order. The shop was named for the comic book adaptation of the last story in Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles, because that was the first comic our founder (Jerry Weist) bought with his own money when he was a little boy.
