Small but stacked. It feels so small yet it is two floors so maybe the fact that it's divided up makes it seem it should be a larger. Good location

This review is solely about the manager Junior. I purchased ensure max protein shakes on November 7th. I opened one on November 8th and found that it was a bad batch. I attempted to do an exchange and he coldly said "we don't do exchanges ". I then had to be the one to say ok well, I guess do the return and then I can take the credit to purchase the new ones. He begins the return and then says to me well you won't get the $6 off that you originally got off because with returns you lose your coupons. I then told him that he needs to make some type of accommodation because it isn't my fault that the shakes were bad. He nonchalantly said can't do it. I asked for the manager he said I am the manager. I threw the new shakes on the counter and took the old ones back and went back to my car. I called customer relations and they apologized for the situation and said they can apply $6 to a gift card for future reference to accommodate the discounted rate. Junior could've easily have done that and Junior needs to learn customer service.

This is a neighborhood Target and is not as well stocked as larger stores. But it is very convenient and has a lot of basic items.

They have locked up most of the items. You must request assistance for most common goods. The store is now un-shoppable without a staff member basically holding your hand. It must be miserable for the staff too. They must’ve had a theft problem. I would prefer someone to just check bags and receipts upon exiting. I will be sure to never use this Target again. The 15 minute drive to Watertown is a better choice than my three minute walk to Porter.

This location just locked nearly ALL of their items behind locked doors, and there are NO EMPLOYEES there to help people out. All cleaning products, personal hygiene, otc medicine and first aid, nearly everything but food. This is in a very safe and low crime area, so was completely unnecessary. They need to realize that they are 20 steps from a CVS, and 100 steps from a grocery store. Dealing with this nuisance isn't worth the $2-3 I'll save over going to CVS. I won't be back until they remove these doors.

This location recently decided to lock MANY of their products behind glass doors, seemingly without hiring additional staff to come open those doors when you want an item. Stuck waiting around 10+ minutes whenever you want an item. Used to spend ~$200 per week here but with these new locks shopping takes to long. I will take my business elsewhere.

I purchased the Deviled Egg Potato Salad the day before yesterday morning in good faith assuming that a large, American corporation knows how to monitor its' inventory. When I lifted off the lid I noticed the sickly, grayish color of the product. I immediately looked at the expiration date which indicated June 10. The product, although chilled at that time, was 10 days beyond expiration. I returned the unopened container to Jaimie, the store manager, who apologized and issued a refund along with a $5 store credit. What I wonder is how sorry she would have felt had I ate the grey potato salad and subsequently rushed to the ER deathly ill.

I had a good experience. But I think this target should have more options as well as more variety of stuff and things. But it is a pretty good store

I gave up on grocery shopping here because I consistently was throwing away moldy/spoiled food, often months before the expiration date. I've seen moldy food sitting on the shelves before and at least half their frozen section has clearly thawed and refrozen. It's ultimately cheaper to go to the Star market because I don't have to throw away 20% of every grocery trip.

Came out of the iconic Porter Sq. Red line 'T' stop & headed for the Target located to its right-across the street. Three of the sales associates i interacted w/ were very helpful in giving assistance to my questions. Over all the store is well maintained & have a fair selection of merchandise (but no bird seed, which is what I went in to look for, & the ladies rest room has no way of drying ones hands). Otherwise I would return to shop here again.

Better target than Central Square. Staff is pretty helpful. There is a larger grocery sections and household tools sections than other small Targets. It’s located next to the Porter Square T stop.

No one works here. Lost out on a 72 dollar purchase because I couldn’t find anyone to help me even though the store was definitely not busy.
