Its very convenient. They have very reasonable prices. Handicap access and helpful employees. The security guards where board of line harassing a girl in the store which I didn't like, regardless of what she did there was multiple times when you saw fear on her face.

this star market is pretty well stocked. in general star market prices are pretty good compared to other grocery stores in the area. this location in particular has the absolute worst bathroom ive ever been in in my entire life, but that is honestly more a disservice to employees than customers.

Very poor customer service when I voiced a complaint to a guy, that said, he was the manager, but had no name tag on himself. The girl that was working the service desk lied to me and said, that she was the manager when she was not. She also thought my situation was funny and was laughing, I told her it wasn't funny and she walked away.

I just went to this Star Market a couple days before Thanksgiving and was extremely impressed with how well stocked they are. I was able to find everything I needed to make all my holiday dishes. They were not low on anything. As with many Star Markets in the Boston area, this one has a Starbucks onsite which is nice if you want a coffee while going about your shopping. It's bright and clean. I am deducting one star because it would be nice if they had more organic produce and a better fish section. Star is moderately priced- more expensive than Market Basket, but cheap compared to Whole Foods. Their Signature store brand has quality products. Customer service is a mixed bag. I've had some experiences where an associate had no idea where to find something and didn't make an effort to help me and other times, someone takes me down to a particular aisle to show me where an item is located. Overall, a solid place to buy groceries!

So unhelpful honestly - I called trying to ask a simple question about whether they had a baking ingredient i needed. Kept getting re-transferred to a line where nobody ever picked up. This is why I go to market basket.

This is a great grocery store by Porter Square. I love coming by here for my shopping needs. This place is huge and everything is easy to find. The staff are friendly and helpful. I stop by here every time I am in Cambridge to pick up snacks and drinks. I usually pick up an iced coffee at Starbucks and wander through the store. You can tell it's fall now because everything you find is pumpkin flavored.

Most Star Markets suck, but this one is especially bad. More expensive than the competition (Wegman’s, Stop-&-Shop, and even Whole Foods), and the employees are rude as anything. Deli is terrible and won’t slice the meat how you like it. Selection is overrated. Shop elsewhere if you can.

I rarely give out one star ratings, but TBH, this store arbitrarily closes early. When you work nights and rely on one of the few full grocery stores to be open, and can drive to several, I would expect that a store open until midnight should at least allow customers in until at least 10 or 15 minutes before closing. I've never had any issue with this single store except their selection has started to become sparse (compared to other stores of the same chain) and I understand completely about not letting customers in right before closing, but except for on several occasions during snowstorms in the past, I don't recall ever arriving right before work to get prepackaged food for work and having this issue come up until rather recently.Perhaps I am alone in my predicament and everyone else who works overnight has plenty of room and the resources to be able to buy healthy food in smaller portions at relatively reasonable prices (compared to the alternatives), yet I lack the means and ability to work/study days and work nights to always prepare in advance when time is money, and in these times I don't feel that I am alone in making the most effective use of both. Personally that means squeezing in the time to spend less of each by choosing this particular location and formerly relying on the fact that I can grab everything here in 15 minutes for the next 24 hours in one stop and by morning am already well within my budget. There's a few other stores in the area that are actually open until midnight and I recommend you "shop around" depending on your schedule and distance. Fwiw, I believe that the management of this location changed over the past year or so, as I have been coming to this location for years and this is becoming enough of a concern to plan to shop elsewhere as of recently.

Too expensive, location is convenient. Updated and gave another star because of the loyalty program. Still too expensive, but less extreme now.

Do NOT use their delivery system. I ordered flash delivery last night, and it was shown as "assembled" but was never delivered. Tried customer service THREE TIMES. Useless. The first promised me it was on its way, but it still didn't show up. The second promised me it was rescheduled for first thing this morning. Still didn't show up. The third told me to call the store myself as otherwise he couldn't help me. He eventually agreed to file a refund for "5-7 days". I'll believe it when I see it.Total scam.

Yo I'm dropping a 3 star rating max and that's only because they've got a wide selection lmao. Now buckle up, because here's where the real sitcom starts. Picture this: yours truly, trying to scan my epic food haul at the self-checkout station when all of a sudden not one, but TWO ninjas try and jack my cart! Like, bro, did I accidentally walk onto the set of a low-budget 'Mission: Impossible' or what? ?And while I'm juggling my groceries and outwitting these cart crusaders, I'm also teaching basic math to the self-checkout dude (<16 years old for sure). He’s looking at this sweet 30% off yellow tag on my London Broil and thinks it's some sort of treasure map, adding the discount to the original price. You can’t make this up! I'm like, 'Sure bro, 'cause in what world does an ~$8.50 meat turn into a $12 filet mignon after a discount?' I don’t recall stepping into the Twilight Zone there broseidon. ??LOL okay okay. I'm done now. We'll chalk it up as a once-in-a-lifetime supermarket saga and I'll just keep cruising forward. So grab this wildly descriptive review with a hefty pinch of salt . Himalayan pink, preferably, but hey, you do you, brotato chip.

Best prices for groceries around. Always busy so be prepared to weave in and out of people.

The butcher was very rude and highly unprofessional, and one of the associates was being very loud and unprofessional. The associate needs to know their place and not try to play management. The whole company needs to retrain their employees. They need to fire that associate for yelling and they need to find new people. That associate has no business running the company. I want to make sure everyone knows how pathetic they are.
