I have been very impressed with Kyle Cabral and his team in their high competencies in managing my rental property. As someone who used to manage my property (from long distance), I knew the pain and efforts involved in dealing with tenants...and honestly..after a few years, I wanted nothing to do with managing a rental from far, far away. I remembered calling and leaving a voicemail message with Southpaw about my desire to find a property management company to help me rent out and manage my unit...and..to my surprise, I got a call the same day back..and all within several hours when I totally wasn't expecting it! Within a few days...I worked with Kyle to sign my rental agreement, provide him information and access to my rental unit...and the unit was already rented out...all within 24 hours of signing my agreement to have Kyle manage my property! Wow..I was impressed! What impressed me more was Kyle's ability to manage rental properties. He took great care of tenants and property owners alike. He's fair..and not just siding with either side. He is not hesitant to tell me as an owner what I needed to do to make sure my tenants are happy (and he's happy to do the same to keep me happy dealing withe thing from repair to HOA as well). I am also very happy to see that...with Southpaw...the need to manage my rental property or handhold anything..is pretty much nil! Kyle took care of everything! And..I just saw..that I recently gave a consent to continue renting out my unit/extend rental offers to my current tenants..and he already had them signed extending for another year of rental at my unit ahead of expiration of an existing lease! That's a testament to Kyle and Southpaw's competencies and proactive approach to management! I love it that..for once..I can really sit back and trust that Southpaw can handle my rental on my behalf! For a long while, I worry about having to sell my unit if the property couldn't be rented out..but with Southpaw...I didn't have to worry about sale of my property anymore..because true passive rental income from this property is now a reality for me!

I had the most horrible experience with them. First when I first moved in to a single family house. Kyle himself gave me only the front door keys and I was told that I am allowed to have the back door keys. Then everything that needed to be fixed after I inspected the house was not fix, like stove fan was broken and the fridge during summer was not working properly I had so much foods wasted and spoiled. Then I got charged for moving out on 7/01 instead of 6/31 which I sent an email to Kyle explaining that I had some professional cleaners coming to clean the house. The trashes were placed and bag in blue Malden bags. I left the place clean and neat but since day 1 after I signed that lease I was not treated fairly.For some of you who had a good experience with him good luck but my family and I had the worst experiences.Now I got sent to collection for moving out a day late and trash charges of $879.

Couldn’t say enough about Kyle at Southpaw Residential. He’s very responsive and properties are very well managed! Helped us find a place after a fire and went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth transition.

Kyle is extremely on top of everything. I’ve had several other landlords in the Boston area who have been fine, but never amazing. My roommate and I have lived in our new place for less than 2 weeks and are already extremely impressed with the communication, speed, and attention to detail from Boston Capital Management. The apartment was professionally cleaned before we moved in (NOT a common feat on 9/1 move in). We put in a maintenance request late last night for a minor dishwasher issue and management has already reached out before 9am today to schedule the repair. I genuinely hope I don’t have to move in the next few years so we can stay with this management company.

Kyle's been an exceptional property manger - always very communicative and helpful. They also have an online portal that makes paying rent and putting in maintenance requests very smooth. I've also always been very impressed with the maintenance crew, any issue I've ever had has been handled quickly and with quality work.

I’ve had a great experience with my apartment in Somerville and with Kyle! He made my sublet process super easy. Paying rent on the portal is very easy, maintenance is responsive, and the renovations on my building (motion detecting lights, etc) are very appreciated. I would definitely live in one of their apartments again!

Kyle and the team at BCM have served as the property manager for my investment property for the past 6 months and I have been very pleased with the service. Within two weeks of engaging Kyle he helped increase rents to market value and had all units fully rented after resolving various appliance/lighting/lock related issues. He is always timely, responsive and professional regarding requests and inquiries from both myself and my tenants.

I love working with Kyle from Boston Capitalmanagement. Since I’ve moved into my location I’m East Boston, I’ve been taken care of by Kyle and his teams attention to detail. The apartment was in top notch when I first moved in 2 years ago and I strive to keep it the same because it just looks gorgeous.
