211 Alewife Brook Pkwy, Cambridge“You know, I'm at that age where I can't afford cheap furniture anymore. When my elderly parents visit I have to have comfortable stuff. I have back problems so I need a couch that I won't get stuck in. My son is more than 10 years old so I'm not as worried about grape juice or vomit ruining things. So I buy key pieces of furniture from this place when I can. The sales people are enormously friendly and attentive, more than one has offered to come to our house to measure spaces for us - and even to ensure a piece of furniture will fit through the front door. That's the kind of service I need at this time in my life. Plus, there are a lot of good looking pieces to choose from.”
“MicroCenter is an electronic paradise. A computer super store in Cambridge with an actual parking lot. Although my appearance may give the impression that I don't rock with the crowd there, I absolutely love shopping there. People who work there are so polite and knowledgeable. I've built several computers over the years, and now I drop in with my sons. Their is also a Trader Joe's in the parking lot and a Starbucks. Starbucks crowd at this particular location is not my cup of tea. Microcenter also matches competitors' pricing. I can not say enough of good things about this store.”
“Basic busy strip mall with Whole Foods, McDs, Staples, TJ Maxx etc. Directly across from another strip mall with CVS, Trader Joes, etc. So convenient. Crowded but parking is available.”

“A large property so be prepared for a walk, there's a lot of good stores around my only complaint is that it's difficult to get across the street to the Trader Joe's and CVS.”

50 Church St, Cambridge“It wasn't that big, it wasn't that small, and it wasn't expensive or cheap either. However, I was able to feel the feeling of shopping, even if only for a moment.”
“Although it has some important stores, I found it very lonely and without much atmosphere, the third floor is empty, although they are going to open a Zara store soon and this will surely give it more life, but it is in a very nice area.”
“What is The Garage now other than a melancholy nostalgia trip down memory lane? We're all thinking about what it once was, a lively and somewhat quirky shopping center with various great eateries. For many in the Greater Boston area, this was THE place to hang out in high school, but over time and trends that fell out of fashion. Retailers stopped thriving as marketplaces moved online. Crazy Dough's closed and was never replaced. The half-finished remodeling after they left sat untouched for years as if stuck in a moment of time that will never exist again.I don't remember when Ben & Jerry's came to The Garage, but I seem to recall a time before it was there. A now empty space sits where it once was, with all the branding in tact and a brand new Ben & Jerry's across the street.... A sign of things to come. The Starbucks closed and became a great Vietnamese takeout instead, so not all things were lost for the worst, but soon The Garage will close for good and some will remember it as the parking garage turned into a thriving mall for 30 years, and some will only remember the 10 years of decline it had. In time, it too will be long lost to people's memories.”
“Great little shopping mall with a nice variety of shops. Large grocery store in Star Market, convenient CVS and Target for almost anything else you'd need, plus a wonderful liquor store and book store. Heck, the Michaels even has some model kits.”
