The employees have little animal knowledge

I had very bad experience with the grooming service today. I was informed that they were only be able to trim my dog's back nails, not front. It was very shocking as my dog has been in this particular PETSMART grooming place for nail trimming for 3+ years since he was a puppy. When I confronted this issue inside the grooming room, it turns out a new girl there who trimmed the nails for my dog today. First she said: "oh, it would be your dog is not familiar with this location." == I was like, why you are so confident that it is my dog's problem, not yours? and why you do not bother to check the transaction history to see how many times my dog was here for the nail trimming. But whatever, it is not important. It is important we make sure my dog finishes his nail trimming == that is what I paid for! So I suggested that we would like to make another appointment to finish my dog's nail trimming. During the appointment making, she then commented: "oh, we must make sure 2 ppl there for this dog's nail trimming; oh, the appointment only will be kept for you for 15 mins if you are late..." Finally I said: " this is a bit mean. I guess I will make the appointment later". I really cannot image how she mis-treated my dog during today's nail trimming process. Must be painful. I wish my dog can speak and tell me his experience. And theoretically the employees at Petsmart shall at least love the pets. It is so said that there is such employee blames everything to the pets and try to harsh on the pet owners to ensure that both pets and pet owners have a very unforgivable experience. I am not sure if I want to go back to this grooming place if I can have other choices.

Took my maltese for a bath, I knew he was full of matting. Aailiyah took such good care of my boy, she managed to get all the matting out without having to trim. Shout out for Ellie, who was checking dogs in and out. She was very friendly.

I begrudgingly go here when the local pet store doesn't have what I need. one of the staff gave dog advice I didn't ask or care for. meh.

Ellie the groomer brings her at home personal problems to work. Every time I speak with her she is pissy any bitter. Not good customer service & I have moved my dog from this grooming salon.

Unprofessional, racism employees. Treat white dog owners as kings or queens. As an African American, I would not never buy anything from PetSmart again. The dog groomers are rude, lazy and never on time from scheduled appointments. They try to talk to African Americans dog owners is a disrespectful way. A lot of Karen's and Ken's there. Take your business elsewhere!!!!!

I went to visit on September 5th and almost all of the betta fish were dead in the display! ? Petsmart keeps all these bettas in these little tiny cups, which is animal abuse in and of itself, but at least feed them!

Petsmart Pets Hotel Fresh Pond Cambridge is the best. I tried multiple other shops before we settled here almost 10 years ago. Kenya, the manager has been there the whole time. Most of the employees stay which builds long relationships with you and most importantly the Fur Baby’s ! Highly recommended them for Day Camp and Boarding !

We came here to pick up some supplies for our first cat. The store primarily stocked store brand and had a relatively limited selection of cat toys and supplies beyond food and litter. We also found some of the products (e.g., litterbox) to comparable options online and in other stores.

The employees make this a 5 start store. From the managers to the cashiers everyone is friendly and helpful. And they have a local rescue in store with cat adoptions. This is great PetSmart, wish all retail experiences had employees this helpful.
