Dropped off my merino wool Canada Goose beanie here and it came back incredibly rough and starchy. The fabric is ruined but the owners seem to think that’s not an issue because it no longer has stains.

I needed to have a bridesmaids dress hemmed and chose to give this place a try thanks to the great Yelp reviews. I had a seamless (pun intended) experience and would definitely come back! It was a pretty simple hem, but the tailor gave me some great advice on exactly how long it should be in the front and back and the final product was the perfect length. When I dropped it off, he warned me that it's their busy season but ensured he could get it done in the three week deadline I provided. In the end, it only took a week which was a nice surprise! The cost was $70 which was fair in my experience around Boston. Heads up that parking near the shop is a bit tricky without a Cambridge parking permit, but there are a few metered spots nearby if you get lucky. It's totally worth it in the end though, so like I said, I would totally come back again the next time I need some alterations.

Subi is fair and kind. He sometimes gets stressed by the amount of pieces he has to finish in such a short amount of time, but he has consistently finished my pieces way before deadline! He does great work with any fabric you give him. Highly recommend

Fast and high quality! I brought in two suit pants for hemming and two suits for dry cleaning - they were ready the next day and looked exactly as I had hoped. The owner was very friendly. It cost $18.50 to dry clean each suit, and $20 to hem each of the suit pants. It was cash only.

I came in with a suit that was too large the week before my friend's wedding, and they were able to do alterations within a few days. When I tried it on and saw that the pants were still slightly too long, they did a quick same-day alteration to get the pants to the perfect length. They turned around my bridesmaid’s dress alterations in a few days and the hem on the double layered, chiffon skirt was perfect. What a relief! Reasonably priced too. Would recommend!

I brought in this super intricate, sparkly dress, 3 days before the event because it was way too long for me. They were able to hem the bottom for me in less than 24 hours! Mind you, the dress is like 4 layers, has sparkly sequins all throughout the dress, and they were able to turn it around in such a short time for $75! They did such a great and neat job on it. Cash only.

Highly recommend Subi and Laoureta at Mid Cambridge Alterations! Their craftsmanship is incredible and they are caring and kind. I came in desperate with a wedding dress that needed extensive alterations and less than three weeks until the wedding day. They listened and created the dress of my dreams. I'm so happy that I brought my dress here! I also had them alter another dress with delicate beading and it came out perfect! 10 stars!!

Lovely couple working tirelessly to ensure next day delivery. I had to get a skirt altered (lehenga) for an upcoming wedding. The service was fast and phenomenal. Despite the complexity of the skirt, they were able to alter it perfectly.
