“One of the best places in Cambridge to find what you are looking for. Knowledgable staff, and if they do not have what you are looking for, have suitable replacements and willingness to help you find it.”
“Nice selection of wines with a wine expert on staff to help you. Came in looking for a Chilean wine and they not only had one but five Chilean wines to choose from! I would go back.”
“I have been going here for years but hadn’t been for awhile…. I went yesterday and I would say this is probably the best specialty independent food store in the United States. I have been in the food business more than 40 yearsMade possible by their dream location which they certainly cater to.I can’t run back fast enough”
“It's a great neighborhood liquor store with an amazing beer and wine selection. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and more than willing to help you find anything that your looking for. They also stock a good selection of spirits at all price points along with a full range of mixers and bitters.”
“So glad to have a corner store in my neighborhood - and it’s a good one! Epic beer and wine selection and frequent tastings. Beautiful dichotomy of old school 40oz and lottery ticket bodega, and gourmet snacks & craft beer. Dog friendly and always treats !”
“Great wine store close to Harvard. Gentleman I dealt with at the store was super friendly and helpful and recommended to me a great bottle of white wine. Very good prices too in a beautiful store.”
“Awesome staff and such a huge variety of worldwide fine wines and a satisfying service to a very demanding type of customers. They also have recycling system to return bottles and cans deposits, using recycling machines at the back of the store. They accept only the products sold in their store and takeglace + plastic + cans.”
“Since I moved to the neighborhood last year, Norton's has been my go-to spot for all my alcohol needs. They've got a respectable craft beer selection, especially for a store of their size; I've been able to find pretty niche stuff from the west coast that I don't see in most other places. The owners are super friendly and seem to get along with regular customers. And they do tastings with local wine sellers on Saturdays (maybe Fridays too) which is great for expanding your horizons and supporting locals! Some of the beers are a little pricier than I would expect (> $13 for a 4-pack from Night Shift) but generally you can get 6-packs of classics like Fat Tire and 90-minute for under $12. Overall, prices are very reasonable, especially given that they have a super convenient location right on Mass Ave and their own private parking lot in a fairly dense business area.”
“I got everything that I wanted and The prices are also reasonable. They also delivery which is fast and provide feedback if anything is changed in the order. thank you for your amazing service.”
“Jon the Supe was the absolute super homie!! Walked in and needed help on a cocktail experiment and went the distance on hearing my needs and supported by giving me options to choose from. He also helped on getting the beer I needed when they didn't even carry the very particular beer I was looking for (glass bottle PBR which like no one carries). Talk about amazing customer service, if you need ANYTHING wine and spirits related, go to Cambridge Wine and Spirits and ask for Jon! 1 MILLION recommended”

“Great honest and humble local business, every employee there has amazing character and plenty of knowledge: they will even stop to talk to you about your day.
Go nowhere else in Central square: these folks have you covered.”
“I stopped by a few nights ago and was very pleased with the produce selection. I was more pleased by the customer service I was given by the attractive young man that was working there. I believe he said his name was Elias or something like that.”
“Great chocolate selection for Valentine's Day. Glad to see Cardullo's still in Harvard Square. One of the last vestiges of unique shops remaining there. Very well curated selection of specialty foods. Worth a visit!”
“Good selection of drinks and local school merchandise. This is a very average liquor store that happens to be one of the only ones in the Harvard Square area that is open semi-late.”
“Sav-Mor Spirits has multiple locations within a 10 mile radius from my house, and while I haven't been to their Malden location, I frequent their Medford store often. I must have been to this particular location hundreds of times over the last 10 years I've lived in the area. The staff is overwhelmingly friendly, expertly knowledgeable about what they have in stock, and kick in pennies when you're out of change. Really solid local business and fantastic liquor store!”
“You should know about wines if you go to this store. I'm not a big wine person but I was buying some for dinner with friends. I asked about Bourbon Barrel, aged Zinfandel, and the short woman with glasses, and two buns said we don't carry that. I had to interrupt her conversation with the other clerk to ask the question. I then had to ask where the Zinfandels were. She pointed them out and went back to her conversation... I would have loved for someone to ask me what I was looking for and help me find it. But, maybe the clerks are just there to take money and aren't knowledgeable about wine.”

“It's just one block away from my house. Nice place to get a couple of beers or bottles and some snacks on my way home. The staff are always nice and helpful. It actually looks like the store runs by a local family that's why I always try to shop here for my liquors.”
“My favorite 'go-to' place for good eats and treats. Plant options for sandwiches, groceries, liquor, and horticulture needs. It's a unique foodie experience.”
