“Awesome staff and such a huge variety of worldwide fine wines and a satisfying service to a very demanding type of customers.They also have recycling system to return bottles and cans deposits, using recycling machines at the back of the store.They accept only the products sold in their store and takeglace + plastic + cans.”
“Since I moved to the neighborhood last year, Norton's has been my go-to spot for all my alcohol needs. They've got a respectable craft beer selection, especially for a store of their size; I've been able to find pretty niche stuff from the west coast that I don't see in most other places. The owners are super friendly and seem to get along with regular customers. And they do tastings with local wine sellers on Saturdays (maybe Fridays too) which is great for expanding your horizons and supporting locals! Some of the beers are a little pricier than I would expect (> $13 for a 4-pack from Night Shift) but generally you can get 6-packs of classics like Fat Tire and 90-minute for under $12. Overall, prices are very reasonable, especially given that they have a super convenient location right on Mass Ave and their own private parking lot in a fairly dense business area.”

“Jon the Supe was the absolute super homie!! Walked in and needed help on a cocktail experiment and went the distance on hearing my needs and supported by giving me options to choose from. He also helped on getting the beer I needed when they didn't even carry the very particular beer I was looking for (glass bottle PBR which like no one carries). Talk about amazing customer service, if you need ANYTHING wine and spirits related, go to Cambridge Wine and Spirits and ask for Jon! 1 MILLION recommended”

“Sav-Mor Spirits has multiple locations within a 10 mile radius from my house, and while I haven't been to their Malden location, I frequent their Medford store often. I must have been to this particular location hundreds of times over the last 10 years I've lived in the area. The staff is overwhelmingly friendly, expertly knowledgeable about what they have in stock, and kick in pennies when you're out of change. Really solid local business and fantastic liquor store!”
“You should know about wines if you go to this store. I'm not a big wine person but I was buying some for dinner with friends. I asked about Bourbon Barrel, aged Zinfandel, and the short woman with glasses, and two buns said we don't carry that. I had to interrupt her conversation with the other clerk to ask the question. I then had to ask where the Zinfandels were. She pointed them out and went back to her conversation... I would have loved for someone to ask me what I was looking for and help me find it. But, maybe the clerks are just there to take money and aren't knowledgeable about wine.”
