“A couple of weeks ago I struck an object in The Callahan Tunnel, and I drove on - it was impossible to stop - and I noticed smoke and a smell of burning oil from beneath my car and limped into Alewife Mobil, not knowing anything about the place but feeling desperate. Marc, the owner, stopped what he was doing , put my car up on a lift, and examined it, pointing out various areas of damage to me. While he offered to do the repairs if I wished, I declined, being wary of an unknown garage/gas station doing what seemed like a large job, potentially running into thousands of dollars. So I told him I was going to have it towed to the BMW dealership where I’d bought it years earlier, and he was fine with that, not pressuring me in the least. And when I asked him what I owed him, he said nothing, that I’d been through enough already.
While I waited for the tow truck to arrive he chatted amiably to me and asked if there was anything he could do, or anything I needed. Over the next hour it dawned on me that the peoplle he had working for him were refugees from - I believe - Ethiopia, and he treats them like family members.
I’ve never had an experience quite like this, and certainly not at a gas station/repair facility! It restored my faith in humanity.”

“I pulled up to the pump and sat for a moment and someone came out to pump my gas. I immediately said oh sorry, I’ll pump, it’s cold and rainy. And after a few “are you sures?” I said yes absolutely!
I starting pumping and another man ran out and said “do you have diesel?!” And I shook my head yes immediately.
He stood outside with me while I pumped and then Moved onto talking with a new visitor.
Beyond this man’s caring gesture to make sure I wasn’t pumping the wrong gas, you could tell he had the kindest way about him. I could have stayed and chatted with him.

It will for like 2 seconds then stop. I had a flat tire tonight and couldn't fill it. So please get that fixed, I will be disputing the charge because I didn't receive air.”

“Had an amazing experience here, a piece of protective plastic came loose when I hit a snow bank and was dragging and making a scraping noise. I have a Prius and my car is low to the ground so I couldn’t reach it myself. I was putting it off as long as possible because I was afraid to hear how much someone was going to charge to put me up on the lift to fix it. (Mainly because I know it’s an extremely simple process if you have the right equipment) I asked how much and I was greeted by the manager Oudy. He acknowledged that it is a simple fix and told me he would take care of it for free. I had never done any business here and was surprised at his generosity. I offered to pay several times and he literally would not accept my money!! Mechanics like this are like unicorns!!! Will definitely be back when I do need work done you can tell he is an honest guy and you don’t have to worry about being over charged or taken advantage of!! Amazing!!”

“This review is for the Dunkins inside. The coffee is decicious. I ordered a pumpkin spice with cream and a turbo shot that almost made me blow my top. It was amazing. Hot, fresh and just that kick of liquid courage I needed to complete my day. Its a small space inside so it usually seems crowded but the line moves fast. The service is friendly too.”

“Great experience. I booked online, they responded quickly over email to say everything I needed done could be done (50K tune up, fix a flat, new tires). Drop off was easy, there was plenty of parking. They were fast, communicative. As a bonus, unrelated to the tuneup my front bumper was being held on by tape after a fender bender. I didn't ask them to fix it, but they reinstalled it for me free of charge, and they refilled my wiper fluid. Nice folks.”
