Wonderful shoe store. Great stock. Best, most thoughtful service. The owner, is a gem. He goes out of his way to help you find what you want and what will serve you well. He doesn't rush you and he makes sure the shoe you pick is the right size for you. There aren't many shops like this anymore. Its a pleasure to shop there

If you’re tired of going online and paying half the price to get half the value and comfort, then come here. Robert only carries the best, has sales often, and is a huge help. Great service, no pressure, and you leave knowing you got what you wanted. I’m so happy with my boots and will be back.

When’s the last time you had a truly enjoyable shoe shopping experience? I hadn’t been to David’s for a while and needed something specific. I called ahead and was assured (with a bit of welcome humor) they had what I needed, and did I know they had moved a couple of blocks down? When I got there, the shoebox was waiting in a chair for me, while they were helping another customer. So knowledgeable and wanted to make sure everyone got the best shoe. Bought some work shoes here and was very pleased with the expert service and quality products that Robert provided. Brought my girlfriend here afterwards to buy a couple new pairs as well. Great prices for name brands of all kinds.

David's shoes is a great shoe store. I have shopped there for myself and family shoes for a number of years now. Never been disappointed on prices, selection and quality. Customer service is very elaborative and assistance is good on what is available in stock. Very kind and understanding of the choices I needed and how to get it easily.

First visit to David’s Shoes On First but definitely not my last! My feet are very wide and it’s nearly impossible for me to find shoes that I like and that fit me well. Robert took the time needed to ensure that I left the store with a well made pair of shoes that fit me perfectly! I thought this level of customer service was a thing of the past. Not at Shoes On First!

Highly recommend this store if you’re looking for shoes that are comfortable and stylish. They carry a good selection of Merrills and Clarks that I can’t find anywhere else. I thought the store had closed for good a while back. So I was happy to hear the store reopened and is only a few blocks away from its original location near the Cambridge-side Galleria; It’s very easy to get to by the red or green lane trains, and the owner is super helpful and patient.

Good choice of quality shoes and great service! They have dress shoes, hiking boots, and casual shoes for men and women. Brands like Clark's, Samuel Hubbard, Josef Seibel, Merrell, Chippewa, Carhartt, etc etc. very friendly.
