Cool spot, hidden gem. Quirky merchandise, hard-to-find eats.

Great chocolate selection for Valentine's Day. Glad to see Cardullo's still in Harvard Square. One of the last vestiges of unique shops remaining there. Very well curated selection of specialty foods. Worth a visit!

Very nice inventory. We visited the store at a time when it was not crowded, and so had plenty of room to move around and enjoy looking at the products. Bought a variety of items as gifts that we cannot buy near our home.

I bought a $10 european chocolate and realized, shortly after eating it, that it had expired two months ago. I called the store and let them know of that and they offered to give me a refund. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and passed by the store a few days later (to get the refund) and they still had expired chocolates of the same brand right up front. So obviously, this is intentional, they are trying to get rid of EXPIRED chocolates hoping that most people won't notice. So be AWARE!

Love love love this spot in Harvard Square the vibe the food and the amazing selection of all different kinds of things from wine to trinkets to a great roast beef sandwich and other menu items confusing that you have to pay at the register but not where you get the food thats why it wasn't a 5 star review

This is a fun shop with various imported and local goods! From the outside I always thought they were just a shop until I saw people eating sandwiches in their outdoor tables one day. We decided to try some of their cold sandwiches on a very hot day. We got the Italian ($14.99) and pera insulata & prosciutto ($13.99). The sandwiches are not cheap but they are quite hefty. Two of us shared both sandwiches and were extremely stuffed afterwards. The bread they use is chewy, flavorful, and holds onto the sauces very well. Both sandwiches had a good portion of both meat and cheese. The fillings were kind of slippery though, so these are definitely sandwiches you want to eat while sitting down.

Incredible imported meats, pastas, and ingredients for such a small store. Carries almost everything you need to make an immaculate homemade Italian dinner. Very well curated selection of wines and a surprising selection of exotic snacks. Only gripe would be that some of the more normal items are priced a little to high for being something you could get across the street for half the price

This is a review of their $20 lobster roll. So what can one expect for $20? It turns out not much. It was really quite poor. The roll had lobster bits but it was mostly lobster salad. The spicing was so heavy handed that it tasted more like spam - salty and peppery. And the roll was stiff, bordering on stale. Seems like sandwich was obviously concocted for tourists. So sad.

A real gem in Harvard Square. This is a gourmet grocery store filled with delectable imported treats and a deli counter for sandwiches/salads. The grocery store section has wines/beers, chocolates, sweets, olives, crackers, tinned fish, sauces, tea, coffee and more. I've only ever tried the Italian sandwich but was instantly impressed at how good it was (rivaling Monica's Mercato, my usual go-to spot for an Italian sub). The meats were well portioned and tasty, the veggies were crisp, and most importantly, the bread was amazing. Will definitely be back to explore more of their selection and try more sandwiches; it's the kind of shop you can definitely have fun getting a little lost in :)

Used to be my favorite shop to go to, but now they’ve increased their prices another 75% (it was already very expensive to start) and they have horrible customer service. They also do not have updated prices on their sandwiches so you will be surprised when you checkout compared to what is listed at the counter.Save your money and go elsewhere.

A lot of cool products but I decided not to even look after being so rudely treated ordering a sandwich. Went in around 2pm, when it wasn't busy, and was literally dismissed when I asked if they had gluten free bread. The worker literally ripped up our order ticket and someone else had to come take it. And then the wrap I got was 90% lettuce... Not worth it.

A cute little shop with a wide selection of beers and wine. The only reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars is because of price. $20 for a 6 pack of beer is a little ridiculous. It’s a shame they are really taking advantage of location and convenience.
