Racially diverse, it is an extremely welcoming church! The pastor delivers a message, as opposed to a sermon. It doesn't matter though. You get the spiritual enrichment needed. A good deal of MIT students attend services here. My only concern is that the students graduate and likely leave the congregation.

A genuine community of people who love God and each other. I love how everyone, from all different age groups and backgrounds and countries, comes together to worship God.

As a woman of color, who is also an immigrant, I realize I have cultural biases that are different from those shared by Americans - both white Americans and American-born people of color. It is difficult to listen to another human being without trying to show that I'm right and he/she is wrong when we differ.
