Cambridge Public Library - O'Connell Branch is a friendly and welcoming small library known for its kind and helpful staff. Visitors appreciate the librarians' willingness to provide information and engage in conversations about books. The library features a single open space with a diverse selection of children's and adult books. While some reviews mention that the atmosphere may not be ideal for studying due to noise, the branch offers a sense of community, hosting events like meet-and-greets in the garden. The library is currently undergoing construction and has limited hours, but it remains a great local resource connected to the broader Boston public library system.
A cute and cozy branch, the smallest in the Boston area, with everything you'd want and expect in a local library.

This place is not that appropriate for studying. Gets people that are loud and staff doesn’t really seem to be bothered about the noise. Not sure if it’s like that for other libraries in the Cambridge area.

Great small library branch. Librarians are very friendly and willing to help and provided plenty of information to help us get familiar with Cambridge Public Library. The library building is a single open space with a great selection of children's books on one side, and adult books on the other.
