I stopped by a few nights ago and was very pleased with the produce selection. I was more pleased by the customer service I was given by the attractive young man that was working there. I believe he said his name was Elias or something like that.

The place is good, but the manager there is racist.On September 22nd, 2023, he falsely accused a 14-year-old high school black kid of robbery because they were walking up and down the store with a filled-to-the-brim opened tray in their arms. When he stopped at the corner of the store, the manager approached them and asked what was wrong. After the explanation, the manager decided to kick him out because he thought they were robbing the place. There was also a bottle of pineapple soda in the side of their bag, but they claimed that it was because since the tray was opened, they couldn't carry the additional item in their arms, but no matter how many times they tried to explain it, the manager wouldn't listen. He also threatened to tell the principal & the cops about the issue, which makes it completely unfair because they were already dealing with mental health struggles but this is the icing on the cake. They were walking up and down the store in panic, but the manager didn't hear it. The main reason behind it was because the 14yo was black, and the manager was white.Even though the place has good food & stuff, I don't condone racism in a place like this. 2 stars.

Im going to review the cashier and the hot food bar, dining area and bathroom The hot food bar gets a 5 stars! I tasted a little of 5 items and they where all very delicious! Great job chefs! Dining area was very dirty and sticky :( The cashier was very rude when i asked for the key to the bathroom and very rudely told me it is for customers only. I assured her that i was on my lunch break and planning to eat here and still she was rude about letting me use the restroom. I will only eat in places that accommodates its customers by letting us use their bathroom. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty. So while the place is dirty i still give the hot food bar a 5 star! And would stop here for lunch.

A good variety of groceries slightly highly priced. Salad and hot bar, fresh sushi and deli. There is also good wine and beer.

I ate from the hot food bar. The food was like what you get in cafeteria. Nothing special. It's also a little pricey for the quality. It's convenient to Sanders Theater, so that's a plus.

Nice little shop that had a good selection but extremely overpriced for certain items. Perhaps because it's in the city. Also you must have ID for everyone in group if you purchase alcohol so make sure you have your license!
