I also appreciate their speed and knowledge or at least know who to ask opposed to sending u on a wild goose chase like the larger banks do where u r just a number not a face. They try their best to accommodate ur needs and explain why with genuine concern why they can't do something or a specific thing isnt offered. Behind the scenes ..Linda and Debbie are very on top of who is who and what is what and no matter which teller I go to I'm not disappointed”

“I’ve had a really good experience working with this bank for more than a decade, but why are the branches only open until 4 in the afternoon?!? I need to get something important done, and catching them early enough in the day has not been possible.Update: they have been very quick to return phone calls after leaving a message. They also have after-hours service over the phone, but it doesn’t connect automatically when calling a branch number after hours. Adding this information to Google maps would be helpful.”

“For fairness (in contrast with my 1-star review of the Davis Sq location), where my visit was a 35 minute disaster (see my review) the person who helped me today was competent, very efficient and courteous. No wonder the Porter location has good reviews while Davis has been going to the dogs. I wish I had known about this branch sooner!”

“Local M&T Bank branch in Cambridge Central Square near Harvard University and MIT. Closest one is near Watertown and Downtown Boston by TD Garden. The staff is very friendly. Although, after hours, I had a problems accessing the ATM because the Door Bank Card Entry Access wasn’t working after hours.

“The only reason I’m giving this location a 5 star is banker, Jonathan. I went into this location very frustrated after reporting fraudulent activity many times on my checking account over the phone. I needed to close this account and open a new one. The bank was somewhat busy. I waited in line and the teller let me know I needed a banker. They all seemed busy. I sat and waited for over 20mins a woman came over asked me if I had an appointment, I let her know I didn’t. She asked what I needed and I explained. She walked around checked with the bankers and basically told me I had to come back. At this point I decided toWithdrawal my money, close my account and go to a different bank. Jonathan must’ve overheard and walked over to me after finishing up with another client. He inquired about what I needed and he offered to help me. He understood I was on a time crunch as I had to pick my child up from school. Walked me into his office. Verified my identity, listened to my frustration and was very quick with the solution. He opened a new account. Moved my money to it. Froze my old account because I had transfers pending. He then made me a new debit card. He did all of this within 10 mins. He went above and beyond. Made sure I had his card and invited me to call him or come to see him if I had any other issues. Jonathan is one of the only citizens representative I’ve interacted with that has genuinely cared about my experience and made sure my issues were addressed and fixed immediately. He is the only reason I have remained a customer of Citizen.”
