  Love my new pair of short boots. They are beautiful, made from the highest quality materials, and will last my lifetime. My posture has never been better, my lower back pain gone, and my sleep much deeper and more restful. Better than chiropractic, physical therapy, going to the gym, and acupuncture because it immediately corrects the root cause of the problem - the shape and strength of your arches!
  
  Cons: The clogs take 8 weeks to be made and are a little noisy.

  Unique custom clog. Takes many weeks to receive the finished set but they are high quality. I’m still trying to get accustomed to them but they are definitely straightening out my entire core.

  I have bunions and had orthotics for years… still had issues with shin splints and walking long distances. So I got clogs at Scandic and it changed my life. Got some for my daughter too. She loves them and the craftsmanship is amazing!

  Scandic footwear was suggested to me by my podiatrist back in June 2021. As a sufferer of life long foot problems from bunions to hammer toes, I decided to make a visit to Scandic Footwear at the Burlington mall. I met with Morten and was quickly enriched with a better understanding of how the misalignment of my posture has been causing problems not only with my feet, but also my knees and my back.I realized also that he is not only a crafter of custom made shoes, but his background in engineering has given him the ability to understand the architectural aspects of the body system for structural support and movement.I was a bit hesitant to to take a chance on custom fit shoes because of cost, however there were a hundred reasons to go for it.I picked them up today and within a half hour of wearing them my chronic knee pain was subsiding. My feet are now properly positioned, in top quality, very stylish comfortable shoes !

  Absolutely love his shoes very kind and helpful highly recommended I had these made for me in 2019 and they are still in great shape bought clogs in 2015 and those also are still good just now starting to show ware on the soles

  I randomly walked into this store and I'm so glad I did! Morten cares so much about every customer that walks in the door and makes sure you get the custom shoes you want. I now have 3 pairs and one more being made. I even convinced my husband to get a pair and he is so happy!One pair are non-skid clogs I wear as a personal chef. They have reduced any pain I felt in my hips, lower back, and knees from other shoes I was wearing. These make standing for hours on end a non issue and I feel much less fatigued.

  Exceptional handcraft quality produced an amazing custom clog for my wife and myself. I feel like a new person with a better posture and can stand at my standing desk for twice as long. No need for socks and they are a delight to wear.

  My Scandic clogs exceeded all of my expectations. I purchased the clogs as work shoes. I am scrubbed in surgery for untold hours. Due to long work hours and a history of a leg fracture. I have experienced incredible fatigue and pain in my feet and legs.

  This is an idea whose time has come. When isn't mentioned here is that the owner hand makes shoes to your specific foot shape/needs. The price is reasonable considering Danskos are made in China and not the quality they once were. If you are tired of cheap plastic zippers, pleather and throw away shoes that can't be re-soled, you'll find the Scandic shoes refreshing. Love the sandals.....

  I work in the beauty industry doing hair and makeup. I'm standing for long hours and it can take its toll. This gorgeous variety of shoes caught my eye so I went in to check it out. I spoke with a very nice retired podiatrist about general wellness, how these shoes are hand crafted in New England, custom ordering any aspect of your shoe...long story short. I can't wait to go back. Cheers

  Do not buy anything from this company..Yes the shoes are comfortable but they do not hold up with normal wear. The owner Mort does not stand by his product. After only a few weeks they looked like they were old. He hooked me when he said his were many years old and they looked great. Mine looked like a cheap pair of bad slippers..bad customer service and Mort does not stand by his product. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY..

  I stopped in the store to get clogs for work; I work as a nurse. The woman at the register called Morten in from the back to help me find a pair. The two of them recited a long sales pitch about how they are hand-crafted clogs, durable, and last for years. With a price tag of $140, I knew it would be an investment, but they had me sold. I wore the clogs at work for about 2 weeks before noticing some material had already worn down. Keep in mind, I put the clogs on when I get to work and take them off before leaving the floor, so I don't drive or walk outside in them at all. I called the store and left a message that was never returned. A week went by and I called again. Morten called me back and after explaining the damage, he told me to bring them in for him to take a look at them. The woman who was there when I purchased the clogs instantly get defensive when I showed her them and continued to say “that happens with this material.” It is a woven fabric. This statement was conveniently left out during their sales pitch. Morten came out and I showed him my clogs. Immediately, he said “this has been damaged.” We went back and forth for a few minutes. I insisted for $140, the clogs should not look like this after 2 weeks of wearing them. Throughout the conversation, Morten was smirking and extremely arrogant, persistently saying this was my fault and not hearing the constructive criticism of his poorly made product. He would not allow for a credit or exchange. Talk about awful customer service. Now as I recall, both him and his employee told me they have had their clogs for years, yet there were no tears on theirs. Long story short, I would like to inform you to refrain from purchasing any Scandic Footwear product. Steep price tag, poorly crafted and terrible customer service. Don't fall for their sales pitch, and stick to Danskos.

  Stopped in to see what was what and the owner gave my 6 year old a run down of how he made shoes. The man is assembling high quality shoes in the mall during business hours! We plan to go back when we have some kid coverage to buy the wife a pair...I'm sure they're comfortable...but possibly just out of principle.
