“Incredibly caring and honest people. I had wanted to upgrade my diamond ring for my 10 year anniversary. I even said what if I bought a lab diamond instead and Michael said do not do that! Do not get rid of your natural diamond even though I make more margin on lab diamonds because they are so cheap for me to buy in comparison to naturals. Michael told me to keep the diamond because it was blessed at my wedding and sentimental to my husband, and instead he would create the setting of the diamond I wanted which was oval instead of round. “It seemed unlikely to me that this place could be as good as all the reviews say, but it really is. I brought in a clock and a watch that weren't running. Chris was incredibly knowledgeable and honest about what he could do to try to fix the clock, what parts he would need, and how much it was likely to cost. He was also very forthright in saying that if it were his clock, he probably wouldn't bother. He took some links out of my watch for a very reasonable price, and he let me know that it didn't need a new battery; it just needs to be worn in order to self-wind. (I did--and do--feel like a bit of an idiot, but that's obviously on me, not him.) I saw Chris and Christine helping other customers in an equally honest and helpful manner. “Joseph Gann Jewelers is the best. We have worked with Matt Gann since 2010 on 4 rings: An heirloom blue sapphire and a ruby that were each set into pre-existing settings and (a decade later) a tourmaline and white sapphire that were set into custom mounts. Each of these rings is beautiful and the finished product suits each stone perfectly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Matt Gann: He is the epitome of trust and courtesy; we have never felt rushed through the selection process; and when we brought in less conventional gemstones for setting (a huge tourmaline and a white/blue-gray sapphire) there was a great feeling of collaboration and mutual respect. Without needing to say much, Matt understood our vision as well as each gemstone's unique properties. In other words, he allowed/allows everyone to shine! I receive tons of compliments on my tourmaline ring (from 2021) The setting had to be designed and made from scratch to accommodate the stone. The result is stunning. The design is Joseph Gann, and it's perfect! Don’t be afraid to go custom! It’s worth it! When we picked up our most recent collaboration earlier this month (a white sapphire ring in an art-deco style) I was overwhelmed with joy…it was gorgeous and much more opulent than I expected for a simple setting (hard to capture in photos). I wear all four rings from Joseph Gann on regular ‘rotation’ and with each one so different from the other, it’s hard to believe that they come from the same jeweler. However, there is one thing common to them all: Outstanding Quality. We are so pleased to have Joseph Gann as our jeweler and look forward to working with Matt Gann again in the near future.”

“As anyone who has walked into a Rolex authorized dealer in the past 3-4 years will tell you - it's a massively soul sucking experience 90% of the time. Most AD's will treat you like a second class citizen for even daring to ask if you are allowed to purchase anything. They make you purchase things you don't want, drive up your spend history, and then dangle the carrot for months or years (usually with no intention of ever actually giving you that Daytona or Submariner). THIS is why I was so impressed and thankful to have met Cameron and the team at Tourneau Copley Place. In the 15+ ADs that I've visited over the past few years, Tourneau Copley Plaza has hands down been the friendliest, kindest, most patient, and the most HONEST of them all. When I initially called to inquire about purchasing 2 different harder to find Tudors, he was extremely patient with me and answered all of my questions. The next day I went in and had an even better conversation with him (and eventually made the Tudor purchase). Since then, I feel like I have made a great friend. Lots of great dialogue, conversation, and insights into all things watches. It never feels like a business, but rather a great discussion with people who also have a passion for watches. “Have now had two old watches serviced by the team at Village Watch Co: A Seiko Pogue (6139) and a Rado NCC 101. Neither watch would be serviced by the Company anymore and most watchmakers won't touch them given how hard it is to source parts. Both are functioning beautifully.”
