Go anywhere else but here. Long lines without any communication from pharmacists. You’ll waste the time you have on this world by standing on this line and dealing with the pharmacists. I would give negative stars if I could. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

This is the worse walgreens ever. If you need a prescription filled stay clear of this place. Very unprofessional!!! Horrible staff it only takes one to spoil the bunch. I have been calling for two hours. First I was placed on hold and inque for over twenty minutes. Once staff picked up, I was told that I did not have insurance to pick my very vital medications. I called my insurance company and retrieved the info that was given to me.I called back to give my insurance information but the staff refused to take it. I was placed on hold repeatedly for almost a whole hour. I called over and overagain and no one will speak to me. I am placed on hold without anyone answering the phone. 10 times I rang the pharmacy with no calls in front of me in que.I have an important medications that I need for my diabetes and blood pressure.

Why aren't negative stars an option? I visited the store this pm and had to deal "again" with that same girl - she was working along with a colleague with eyelash extensions. I've had previous interactions with her, and I'm confident that the only document she must have submitted for this position was a "Summa Cum Laude Certificate of Excellence in Rudeness, Poor Attitude, and Bitching". It's disappointing to see the decline of this Walgreens location. I've been going there for close to 25 years. It's literally falling apart.

The pharmacy at Walgreen's in Brookline is short-staffed. Be prepared to wait a LONG time even if you have an appointment for a COVID vaccine.

I come all the time mainly to get snacks or other basic items and it's pretty convenient :) cashier Skye (my apologies if it's spelled wrong) is the SWEETEST and so helpful. Whenever I come in while she's working I know my day will be a little brighter!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE in the pharmacy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY. Very rude, terrible attitude, and does not care about customers. I was on the phone waiting in line with them for 1.30 hours. They picked up the phone after 40 mins of the automated message, put me on hold, and then disconnect me. The second time, they picked up the phone, I told the lady that I have been waiting for more than an hour. She didn't acknowledge it, she put me on hold still and disconnected me. The third time, I called again and waited in line with the annoying automated message. While doing that, I drove to their Walgreens pharmacy in person with my phone in hand being put on hold with the automated message. They were not busy. There was no one in person waiting. But they claim themselves to be "busy". They didn't inform me that the prescription is expired and now there is a gap in my prescription. They didn't acknowledge or apologize for keeping me in wait for 1.30 hours (except for one lady who fake apologized to get rid of me). They didn't take responsibility for anything and kept blaming things on the customers. What should have been resolved in 5 mins, took me 2.30 hours to get an answer (after 3 long phone calls in waiting and one in-person visit) but still no resolution. This is not the first time a customer complained about this pharmacy. Every month, when we come to collect a prescription, at least two or three people in front of me complain to them about their inefficiency. Now that we have experienced their poor service ourselves, we have decided to move the whole family's prescription to CVS. I always liked Walgreens and its rewards. I am a long-time customer but because of this pharmacy, I will no longer come to Walgreens.

Whish I could rate it better, but I just can't.Every time I go there because I find something on the store's website that is "in stock", I'm shooting myself in the foot and completely wasting my time b7y going out of my way to find out not only is it not on the shelf, but asking the clerks to look for it in inventory is absolutely useless. And forget browsing altogether, The other day I was searching and searching for a specific children's cough medicine., … terrible signage and sections. The product they were supposed to have I ended up needing, I found at a different store at a cheaper price anyway, so no more Walgreens, Sorry

Scheduled COVID vaccine appointment online and when I walked in, the pharmacy was closed and was told the pharmacy doesn't open on weekends...

Went ahead and gave them a call to ask if they had a medication because another pharmacy informed me they did. They didn't answer the phone for over 2 hours. Drove from South Boston to Brookline to go to the pharmacy because I need this medication. Just to go into the pharmacy for them to tell me they didn't have it. As a Walgreens customer I don't appreciate their level customer service because they didn't even try to go ahead and make sure themselves that that medication was at the places that they handle me on a sheet or offer to order it but yet dismissed my questions and didn't even mine to help at all.

This Walgreens Pharmacy does not pick up their phone, instead they let it ring indefinitely (this has happened for over a month now). I have missed several medications after being promised something would be ready on a certain date, only to make the trek there and find out the order wasn't even put in. There have been some days where I showed up only to see a sign on the door saying they are closed for being short staffed. I've probably dealt with something between 15-20 pharmacies in the last 10 years or so, and this is without question, the absolute worst and least reliable. The only redeeming quality is the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs, especially if you need important medication on a reliable and regular basis.

The service in the pharmacy has become increasingly bad. The pharmacy never, and I mean never, answers the phone. There are long lines to pick up meds. And now, even when you get to the pick up window, there is a 15-20 minute wait for them to fill your prescription. That's because they seem to have a new policy of "pausing" your order, even when you've used the automated service to call it in days in advance. Pausing means they don't actually fill your order until you get to the head of the line. All the customers have been complaining every time I've been there recently, and yet the staff has been defensive and rude. Really dreadful service, all the way around.David Adams

They have been having severe staffing shortages at the Harvard and Aspinwall Brookline branch. They closed the pharmacy on the weekends without notice. If you call and ask to speak to the Pharmacy they tell you what number you are in line but not that they are not answering their phones so you advance in line as people drop off thinking progress is being made. I was next in line for 30 minutes before hanging up. Their answering machine says they are working on your order but they are not which you find out when out of desperation you go to the store and there are 3 people working there trying to catch up, non of whom are answering phones. Once you get to the front of the line and talk to them they will start working on your order. You can wait and get it, but they have a big problem right now and it is very frustrating.

I have been trying unsuccessfully for 2 days to get in touch with the pharmacy by phone to ask about a medication. Both days I was on hold for over an hour before I gave up and never got through. I'm going to have to go in in person to ask a simple question they could probably answer in less than 5 minutes. This is my first time getting a prescription at Walgreens and my last. CVS definitely has better customer service.

IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT THEM. Pharmacy NOT responsive by phone. **** Employees are nice if you can reach them... this is not about the employees**** My generic, plentiful prescription has been in their hands 3 days, and it's still NOT ready. The hold times on the phone are ABSURD... I waited two hours on hold, then got disconnected! ( The other day it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach someone, so this is not unusual ). Walgreens outgoing message for three days announced to "call back in an hour, we're working on it." They are misleading. Not helpful. Waste customers' time. I need the script tonight. There is no excuse for this. They should have a SYSTEM to return calls, or some sort of SYSTEM to transfer scripts they can't fill within 3 days. They need to rethink their customer service options.
