Let me just say that I have never met an optician quite like Dr Zappala. I was in town for business and had an emergency. Dr Zappala sprung into action. She quickly diagnosed my problem and provided a solution.
I can honestly say that I’ve never met someone so caring who is willing to go to go above and beyond. Highly recommend!!

Highly disappointed with the new frame. Even after remaking it thrice and that too an entire new glasses and paying a huge amount I didn’t get the correct one. Staff is good at the store but at warehouse it’s not good. I am literally not gonna suggest anyone to visit this outlet. Every time they said the frame is ready I would discover a new problem with the frame and they would try to stick that to me saying its not there fault, its while shipping or the warehouse issue. I am paying you full amount and still not satisfied.

I came in to look around and get some insurance questions answered and the staff was so helpful. It was kind of busy but they still took the time to answer my questions and show my frames. I want to shoutout Heath and Sheena they were so so so helpful and kind. I will definitely be coming here in the future !

UPDATED 1/16/2024I have been attempting to contact the MyEyeDr. customer relations team over the last week. I called 5 times and left 3 or 4 messages over the last 10 days. Other than the initial voice message, I have not received a call back.####I wrote a more extensive review on my two years journey and hundreds of dollar out of pocket spend working within the MyEyeDr chain office for their Boston location:https://goo.gl/maps/ETt6QXEWTwSdV89n9It started from the Boston office and ended up here. People are nice throughout the system, but I consistently received poorly fitted lenses. The error was immediately obvious when I went to other offices, and no one in both MyEyeDr offices seem to recognize it.It appears to be a systematic failure of the MyEyeDr. system from OD, to technicians, and manufacturing.

I'd love to share my experience for others to know what they are expecting (I am writing for the store located in 33 Broad st, Boston, MA, 02109). In short, I came here because I have deposit in my contact lens wearing after a few hours and looked for diagnosis and solution, but I ended up with the same problem + two boxes of daily contact lens which I have deposit too + $100 return that July said they will take at least 3 weeks to process back to my medical insurance.At beginning their attitude was good and Dr Caruso diagnosed me as "allergy" and prescribed me with steroid eye drop for 1 week and after that she said I'm fine with wearing contact lens again and prescribed me monthly contact lens. I was thinking to order one box and then have a new pair of glasses. First lie from the woman who ordered the contact lens is "Your insurance balance can be applied to either contact lens or glasses, but not both" Later I called Cigna vision insurance and they assured it can be applied to both.Like what I was afraid, the monthly contact lens keeps having deposit, so Dr Caruso switched the prescription into daily lens. Unfortunately, daily lens has the same problem, so I started to doubt the diagnosis. I have to start to wear eye classes again, so I asked to return the daily lens. This time the woman who ordered my contact lens was very impatient "girl, I can't do this for you, ask Julie next week"Julie gave me the second lie that "we can't return your money back since insurance company already processed it" I called Cigna again and they said they can once the store adjusted the balance. After I told Julie the fact and ask she to let me know after she process it, she turned out even more impatient and said the store reimburse department will take 3 weeks to process it.They gave me the feeling that they can be nice to you if you just pay them. But once you have any problem that take their time to help you, they will be very reluctant and impatient. As a patient with eye problem, that's the last thing I would ever expect.I would follow up to see how long their reimburse depart to process it.

A really fantastic place. I've been to MyEyeDr in Brookline three times since January, and each time I've been extremely impressed at how simple my appointments and purchases have been. Dr Zappala was wonderful during my eye test. All the staff out front are extremely helpful and friendly. I've had the most experience with Hearth and would like to give them an extra big shout out for helping me get the best deals! 10/10 would recommend.

Really awesome place - by far the easiest and most enjoyable optometry experience I've had. Dr. Zappala was great. She was able to answer all of my questions and conduct a very thorough and efficient exam.Louise and the rest of the staff were an absolute pleasure. I was being very picky about my eyeglasses and Louise practically pulled out every single pair of glasses to find me the perfect ones. I've never had an experience where a staff member was so willing to take the time to help me right before closing (I typically feel really guilty coming in right around closing time, but I could tell Louise and the staff genuinely did not mind).I'm extremely happy with my experience and my new glasses thanks to Dr. Zappala and Louise!

Came in today because i need new glasses like a body needs a heart! Hearth was helping me out and she could not have been more warm, friendly or helpful. Definitely recommend.
