Dr. Groper has been taking care of our dog for the last eight years and treats him like his own. He now takes care of our second dog and we would never go anywhere else. The love attention and care he gives to the animals and their humans is unmatched thank you Dr. G and the whole staff at VCA for all you do.

10/10, couldn't have asked for better service. My cat Smittens was travelling with me to the UK, and their team put myself and him at ease from the moment I got in contact with them. They truly went the extra mile to make sure my lil buddy was able to travel with me without a hitch. You can truly tell everyone there genuinely loves animals, and will treat them like their own.

I took my cat here to establish care and was impressed by how kind/knowledgeable Dr. Mani was! The administrative staff were also great!

Personal, on time, spotless office. The team at VCA Brookline animal hospital made it all work. The best I've seen yet

Great staff, you can tell they really care about animals. My dog just loves the treats she gets when we arrive there.

I’ve taken my cats to VCA for 6 years now and it’s a great place. Just visited their new location on Boylston st and it’s spacious and nice—plus, dedicated cat waiting areas and exam rooms so they don’t get upset by the sight/smell of dogs! The people who work there are really nice too, and I also just found out they have a monthly plan that makes dental cleanings and routine care for cats much more affordable.

We recently moved but brought our two cats here for several years. Dr. Feldman was extraordinarily helpful in navigating our older cat into senior hood. Our fur baby is thriving even with her common older cat ailments. Additionally, the entire organization was amazing during the pandemic, clearly conveying how to safely pick up medications and special diet foods and even devising an innovative system for dropping off pets for appointments. We can't thank them enough and definitely recommend VCA Brookline for veterinary care!

Clare is extremely rude, a person with her abhorrent mouth should never work in customer service. She has a sense of entitlement with the customers, and thinks she can talk to people disrespectfully, then blames others for her behavior, basically she cries wolf when she gets caught, and thinks customers don’t see her little side notes/ comments she writes down to save her face/job.She thinks her sneaky ways won’t catch up to her, but unfortunately your management is not keeping track of this behavior.I hope the supervisor/Manager sees this, your clients are just as important as your staff. If your receptionist is purposely making people uncomfortable, no one is going to come back to your clinic for services.

Living in the area, I never took my dog here because I’ve heard terrible things about the VCA. Went to Angell and I’m glad I did. I’ve heard from multiple people their horror stories about being charged for appointments they didn’t show up for or paying in cash and a receptionist pocketed the money. When the receptionist was fired for stealing, they didn’t return the money. They just don’t believe their clients and continue to force them to pay for their own clerical errors. Cops have even been called to deal with them because of their strong arm tactics. Read the other poor reviews and avoid if you can.

They asked for my dog’s rabies certificates and I showed them. Therefore, we canceled the appointment for rabies vaccination. However, they just contacted me and asked me to pay for the appointment for rabies and told me my dog had their rabies vaccination WITHOUT MY DOG’s presence. So, if you want a magician&vet that can vaccinate your dog remotely, pick this one.Now they couldn’t prove I attend the appointment and they started to say: "we forgot to charge last time. The vaccine was given last time." And then the invoice came out of no where. What? Why don’t you just say you forgot that you gave me a hundred vaccines? Don’t come if you don’t want to be robbed. The place was good 2 years ago. I remember the review was 4.7/5 and now it's 4.3/5, meaning the recent review is lower than 4/5. The frontdesk and the manager are all not as good as before.I wanted to solve the problem of my dog's certificate and the front desk said she doesn't know and I didn't tell her. So, for anything, I guess they are expecting you to inform every single employer in the VCA.They are just so arrogant with their ignorance. I asked for the manager Sarah's last name. They just said they didn't know and didn't give a hook. All the questions are answerer by they don't know. And no one there has the ability to actually solve the problems. I bet the place will be even worse in the future. I'm out

Had a horrible experience with a Dr. who was mad we couldn’t afford to do a full panel of blood work. For an annual visit we spent $450. It insane that practices treat you poorly bc you don’t accept every recommendation they provide. He was extremely unprofessional, presumptions. I won’t ever go back, I do not recommend this practice.

I’m not sure how this place has as many good reviews as it does. I brought my cat here to evaluate her loose tooth and when I asked the vets opinion of it, he didn’t even know what I was talking about and tried to give a broad answer as if to make up for the fact that he didn’t evaluate her well. The whole visit was rushed and it seemed like Dr. Groper was just trying to get the patients in and out as soon as he could. In the end, they said they couldn’t book her for a dental extraction until the next year and that she needed it sooner so we would have to go elsewhere. I had spoken to them prior to making this appointment and they knew it was for a dental extraction evaluation prior to a procedure. I wish they had told me they were booking out so far so that I wouldn’t have had to waste so much money on a poor exam.

It was a multi-week wait when I needed an appointment for a stray cat I was adopting back in 2022. It was impossible to get anyone on the phone or reply by email when I noticed my cat had teeth crumbling out of her mouth. The vet I talked to seemed rushed and out of patience. Prices were about average.I moved across town later that year and wanted to transfer my cat’s records to the new vet, but between multiple phone calls from me, a call from the new vet office, and a request on their online portal, its been at least 3 weeks and I still don’t have my cat’s records. Every front desk person was kind and the practice did great work spaying my cat and removing five teeth when I interacted with them, but navigating the scheduling and records department is a nightmare.

Why do vets hire the rudest receptionists . I am relocating to Boston and calling around for vets, I called this office, the receptionist was rude, quoted prices that are different than what is online and told me my dogs would not be able to be seen until the end of August!!!!! I was told I could not pay to have vet take blood tests on my dogs, because, she said: 'IT IS A WASTE OF THEIR TIME" EXCUSE ME -- WHAT IS THE VETS JOB?????? WELL, THAT PHONE CALL WAS A HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME. Somehow I do not believe they are that busy -- not with that receptionist. They will NEVER see my dogs, and I recommend others look at other vets also. NO WONDER THEY HAVE SO MANY BAD REVIEWS -- ALSO, THEY REALLY NEED TO GET RID OF THAT RECEPTIONIST!!!!!
