Great selection here. It's also a small owned business I'm pretty sure so I have to say they are very personable and remember common customers who stop by. Additionally, they really go out of their way to get many flavors and different types of liquor and snacks. Everything you need in a quick walking distance stop and also very often updated.

This is probably my favorite convenience store ever. The boss is the most amazing woman ever, and I'm glad to be able to support a store with a great owner. Not only do they have all the necessities but there's also a great deli section and a wine/beer section!

When you walk in, there's not much to make you feel welcome. However, the gem is the sandwich counter. When I first arrived in Boston 3 years ago, a guy passing by me on the corner told me "this place has great sandwiches!" I didn't believe him until I gave it a try yesterday. It was one of the freshest sandwiches I've probably ever had...extremely surprising from a corner liquor store you'd least expect to have farm-fresh produce in its sandwiches. I'm not exaggerating, it actually looked like a food make-up artist did her thing on it. Not a blemish in any vegetable. I created a custom sandwich with: BREAD: Ciabatta Roll MEAT: Maple Glazed Ham, Genoa Salami CHEESE: Pepper Jack PRODUCE: Romaine Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Avocado CONDIMENTS: Mayo, Chipotle Sauce, Garlic Oil It was probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in Boston, high quality ingredients like Jimmy John's. The couple who owns the store is from the Dominican Republic. They're a bit reserved at first but are easy to strike a conversation with and quite friendly and humorous. Would definitely come back for my custom sandwich. Give it a try! I hope you like my concoction!

Chances of getting food positioning? Moderately high. Chances of getting rude service? Extremely high. You are best off going to star marker which is down the street. They actually are not rude, have good prices, quality food, adhere to health code standards (aka wear gloves) and don't have a 6 dollar minimum charge. Always surprises me how a small business who is billed as being convenient can turn away money. 9/10 transactions are with a card...

I like this place...most of the time. After getting a nice loaf of bread next door at Clear Flour, I usually stop over to pick up a bottle of wine. On this occasion (Sunday evening) I encountered an employee who rudely stated "there is a 10 dollar minimum" while pointing at a sign. I have never encounter this here before. The owners are always very nice and have never given me an issue when using my debit card for purchases under 10 dollars. I understand policy, but get consistent. Tonight I took my business elsewhere.

If you are looking for the perfect corner store, look no further. Great sandwiches, smoothies, deli selection (boar's head), beer and wines as well as anything you might need in a pinch from fresh fruits and veggies to vanilla extract and TP. Nicest staff in the neighborhood, open early to late.

Well, Mike answered my question. The new mgmt has really improved this store. People ordering sandwiches said they're always v. good. Large selection of wine & beer. I went because they're now carrying Takis brand tortilla chips! The best!

This is the best place ever. If you want to be treated like a valuable human being and get good deli meats and sandwiches, come here because you will not be disappointed.
