The inventory of orthopedic shoes was excellent! However, the service to customers was poor. The two employees mostly hung out behind the cash register staring into space, even when the store was full of customers. They only offered assistance when specifically requested to do so, and not very thoroughly or politely. For example, when I expressed interest in a certain style/color of shoe, the employee responded, "You can't try those on because they are too narrow for you." He did not offer to order them in my size. Likewise, he loudly declared "Simple math!" when I asked him to clarify a reduced-price offer on socks. As mentioned, the inventory was excellent and likewise for the background music, but the store needs sales personnel with "people skills" that can provide motivated and thoughtful sales support.

Simon’s is a Boston gem! Yendry helped me find boots, a bag, and a pair of gloves at Simon’s Shoes on Tuesday- was some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. The store has a great selection and I’ll be back for more goodies soon.

Simon's Shoes is a Boston gem! Went in to buy a pair of Campers, a Wyeth bag, and some gorgeous quilted gloves- couldn't be happier with the quality of the goods and the service. The staff was super knowledgeable, so helpful, and cuties too! (Shot out to Yendry for helping me!) With the great selection at Simon's, it was hard not to buy more. Will definitely be going back soon. Check it out!

I purchased a pair of Pikolinos Fisherman Sandals. Great well made shoe without the chunky sole on other sandals. My second pair as I wear them throughout the warmer months.I had them shipped to Canada and there was a problem with the shoes. I contacted the store and they responded quickly and found another pair.I was so impressed with the fast and courteous help I had to add this review.I wish all online stores followed this store’s great Customer service.My thanks to the staff who responded to the issue of my first shipment. Second pair received and are fine.Will definitely shop here again.

The young man who answered the phone was extremely helpful in assisting me as to online orders and special orders. Shop family owned like Simon's and you won't be passed from dept. to dept. because they are the real deal.

I purchased a pair of shoes from Simons via Amazon and chose their option to ship internally as I live in Mexico. The shipment hasn’t arrived and Simons didn’t insure the package. I only got a message from them for me to call and try to locate the package myself. Wow! That’s some poor service!Now I’m out $200 and no shoes. Zero stars for service and thinking it was a good idea to ship usps to Mexico. Really disappointed that they care so little about guest experience and dollars.

Awesome shoe store with super friendly and helpful staff. Their selection is impressive for a small, independent store, and I found a lot of comfortable, stylish options. I'll never buy online again! Well worth the hour drive.

After a year of working for Simons Shoes, I wanted to leave a brief testimony. My time at Simons has been overwealmingly positive. The Kerstein family has poured their heart and soul into this business, and they care deeply about their customers. If you are looking for quality footwear in the Boston area, this is the place to go. While I am moving on to new challenges, I will look back fondly at my time at Simons Shoes.

Isn't the best feeling in the world buying a new pair of shoes? Well it is for me! Simon's shoes has the best variety of shoes for men and women. My first experience with them is I had just moved back here and needed winter boots. Slipping in the parking lot behind the store I swooshed into retail heaven. The manager was so nice, and fit me to these boots from Canada that the bottom of the boot flips over and spikes pop out. You can do the entire bottom of boot or half. They were pricey, but the investment was worth it. I still use them years later. That experience has kept me a life long customer. Seriously the variety is amazing. What I love about their shoes is stylish-comfort. Best to get on the mailing list and take part of two really good sales per season.
