Rude and unprofessional. I called asking about loan programs and I was told they could not help and for me not to call again. They asked if it was sales, I said yes because I wanted to speak to someone in sales because I had questions about their programs. They told me I was trying to sell something, but I was not I was trying to ask about their loan program.

Unprofessional. They have an operator answering their phones and was extremely rude. I would not recommend. She even hung up on me and I was nothing but polite.**EDIT** - I'd like to clarify that there was two calls. One we're I first called and the operator hung up on me before I finished talking when she found out I was a broker. Then I called back and complained that I was hung up on and she took my call. Being hung up on its extraordinarily unprofessional. There are two calls you can check in your records. You're absolutely right the second call was cordial because I called her out on how unprofessional she was as you noticed in the beginning of the second call. I leave my review.

The first reno loan, a Friend mentioned about the lender, who only heard about, so I was skeptical. From first conversation, James as professional and knowledgeable as you can expect! To the point, knows guidelines, no bs and fast replies! Came through and Made it happen! The loan was at Highest loan to value, fairly easy and painless process. Fast underwriting! (except during holidays, got me bit worried) Most importantly closed! Highly recommended lender and Mr. James with his team, credit goes to Katrina as well! So, if you want to work with the best, you are here!

Company charged me a $499 appraisal fee but never done the appraisal. They would not respond to a request for a refund even though they declined to do the loan

I approached New Silver out of sheer desperation. I had a good deal but all the local HMLs kept giving me excuse after excuse regarding funding my deal (relatively newbie investor, really tight closing deadline etc, etc). I needed to get funding fast so I hit google and New Silver popped up.I reached out and James responded immediately. He worked through my numbers, discussed all scenarios with me and then got straight to work. We had a delay with the appraisal being returned - this was NOT a New Silver issue and James warned me that this would happen because its happening everywhere right now BUT he also told me we would close by my deadline. Was I skeptical? Yes. Did I panic? Heck yes. But James told me it would work out and it did.I have to mention here that New Silver's communication and responsiveness is unmatched. Every single email got answered promptly, calls were returned promptly. I don't know if these guys sleep. Professionalism is A+++ and this applies to everyone from James to Marwan and Alex - everyone is very professional. I got funded in early Nov and deliberately waited to review until after my first draw (late Dec) because I wanted to be able to give a full, true review of the whole lending and funding experience. Even the draw went smoothly - I submitted my request, inspector came out, I got my money in a little under 48 hours.I cannot praise New Silver enough. Where other HML make you jump through hoops and then don't deliver, NS delivers - no excuses. Their process is super simple if you have a good deal where the numbers work and you have all your other paperwork in order. They also have a very simplified and easy to use dashboard. I very highly recommend New Silver for all your funding needs.

New Siver is great! Whether it's cash out refi or fix and flip.. I worked with James as my loan officer, he has the answers to all my questions. The process to close on the loan is very streamlined. I believe Amra worked as the loan processor, very responsive guided me all the way to the closing table. Thanks All

I appreciate the fact that New Silver did refund my appraisal fee after declining the loan. The website states that there is no refunds on the appraisal fee. It is unfortunate that I was not informed that they would issue a refund in 3-5 business days until after my previous review was written. I look forward to possible future deals with this company and I will wait until a deal is in place before paying for an appraisal.

Terrible loan company! Loan officer will never call you back or return your call! 377k purchase price and putting down $200k with credit score over 700 and couldn’t close the deal on time. Went to another lender and closed it 3 days. Just beware I don’t want anyone going Thru this like we did. Over promise and can not ever delv on that promise. James was the loan officer.
