TLDR: They misdiagnosed my car, overcharged me, left my window open during a rainstorm (so my seat/floor got soaked), and didn’t even fix the original problem. When I complained, they only offered partial money back. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

I had a very disappointing experience with this shop. I originally brought my car in because of a thumping noise from the passenger side and mentioned I thought it might be the exhaust or motor mounts. After their inspection, they told me it was the caliper and spark plugs, quoting me $500 for both. I specifically asked for just the caliper to be done, which should have been around $300.
When I came back to pick up my car, I was charged the full $500 because the owner wasn’t there and his father overcharged me. To make matters worse, when I got to my car, my window had been left wide open during a rainstorm, leaving my front seat and floor soaked with a large puddle (see photo). I went back inside to complain, but they offered no compensation, just to take the car back and dry it, which I didn’t trust them to do after everything.
Worst of all, the original issue was never fixed. The thumping noise was still there, and after further inspection elsewhere, it turned out to be the motor mounts, what I had suspected from the start. They eventually admitted it was the mounts after I went back to complain and offered me $200 back, but by that point the damage was done.
In the end, I was left with a wet car interior, wasted time, money, and the same unresolved issue. I had to go to a different shop to actually fix the problem. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place.

I’ve been coming to this place for 2 years and they’ve always been good to me. Whenever I need an oil change or a car inspection they are very quick. I recently needed some body work done on my car, Omar the owner, recommended me to an auto body shop instead of being upset that I was in the wrong place. I would definitely recommend this auto shop to anyone

This Mobil gas station has such kind and welcoming staff. They greeted me with a friendly smile right away. I came in urgently needing change for $1.00 to feed my parking meter as I was in the middle of seeing a movie at the Coolidge Corner Theater. The CVS up the street refused unless I made a purchase, and that only gave me $0.50. Here, they helped me without hesitation, and I truly appreciated their 5-star customer service. Thank you so much! You are the best!!! This is exactly how customers should be treated (and yes, I’ve purchased gas at other Mobil locations before). :)

SHOCKING EXPERIENCE — DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!
I went to this location for a simple oil change, and a few days later, I noticed a tire pressure warning signal on my car. I returned to the shop on July 31, 2025, in the afternoon to get help. What happened next was unbelievable.
When I called the employee, he literally hid in a back room, and another worker acted like I was a problem just for showing up. I asked to speak with the manager. Instead of offering help, the manager defended his staff and shockingly said, “We told him yesterday, and he still came back today. Just charge him $150 so he’ll learn his lesson.”
Excuse me?! I came back for help, not to be punished or disrespected. I just received the warning signal five minutes before arriving how does that deserve a $150 lesson?
I calmly explained that I wasn’t asking for free maintenance, just support from the same place I trusted days earlier. The manager’s response? “We don’t care.”
Unbelievable. Not only is this customer service rude, unprofessional, and completely untrained, but even the manager seemed lost. He begged his own employees, and they clearly had zero respect for him either. If you don’t like your job, please don’t take it out on your customers. Don’t make us feel disrespected and unwelcome.
If this shop can’t treat people with basic decency, they shouldn’t be in business. This is not just bad service it’s a warning. Don’t risk your car, your money, or your peace of mind. I wouldn’t even trust this place to fill my gas tank.
Stay far away.

Rude and condescending staff at Audy’s Mobil. When I asked for help with the broken air compressor, they acted like I was bothering them. If you don’t like your job, quit! I can’t believe you’re the owner !!

Love this gas station. Omar, the owner, is such a lovely human being with a great sense of humor and good heart. He and his mechanics don't talk down to women, which is rare in this business. Always get my car inspected here, and am using them because they do great repairs at reasonable prices. Most recently had bought a set of new tires from the dealership, and one kept leaking. Dealer claimed there was no problem, so I kept filling it up with air every 2 weeks. Omar's fellows noticed it was almost flat and were very concerned. Didn't want to sell me new tires, like the dealer. Instead they resealed the tire for an incredibly low price and the problem is solved. What a relief. Also told them to do an oil change if needed, but they honestly said I had 5,000 miles to go before that was necessary. Unheard of in this day and age!

Best service station in Brookline. Owner, mechanic, and staff are all superb kind, knowledgeable folks. Always friendly and helpful. This place goes above and beyond for customer service + results.

Review for their maintenance/repair shop:These guys are incredible. Super nice and really genuine. I got something stuck in my tire, which was causing it to deflate. I went to one shop before them and those folks said they couldn't plug the hole and they wanted to replace all of my tires and quoted me 1k. I went to the Mobil shop after and they immediately told me it could be plugged and they had it ready to go after a few hours at a very affordable price. I must also mention that Omar is an amazing guy to work with. He is super kind and genuine and clearly has no interest in taking advantage of his customers. You'd think that would be the bare minimum but most shops will try to get more out of you, especially as a young woman. You better believe I'm coming back here, if need be!

After fueling bus i found a hospital money card on the ground. I turned it in to the store clerk and he said he knew the person. Very good to know theres honest people left. Very nice guy as well.

This place is terrible. Don’t trust them! I’ve brought my car back 3 times after they swindled me into getting new brakes. They “can’t seem to find the issue”. This shop is a scam with terrible mechanics. Car leaves the shop with a new problem every time. Stay far away!
