“The famous most profitable Trader Joe’s in the world!

Huge turnover of produce, so the produce is good and fresh. The staff are very nice, and the lines go pretty fast.

The rest is standard Trader Joe’s products: overall great quality, and nice special things with a twist.”

“Shopping at Kurkman’s is like going back to my uncle’s grocery store in the 1950’s with friendly, helpful clerks, a wide selection of foods, including fresh fruits and vegetables, a great snack collection and fresh breads. I love Kurkman’s!”

“This was one of my most favorite grocery stores in 90's when I was a student. I was a regular customer in this store. I really miss this store since I left Boston. Simply the Best. And yes, the owners were so friendly and nice always. I used to rent this movie "mouna ragam" almost every time I visited this store. So many memories. These days so many other grocery stores have popped up everywhere, but Madras Masala is awesome and will always be my all time favorite. Will visit again when I come to Boston.”

“Love - lots of meatless products especially given how tiny the store is.

Dislike - why on earth are there only full size carts here? aisles are so narrow, feels like i’m driving a boat through the store sometimes. Trader Joe’s gets it right for how to navigate a small footprint grocery store. Also the carts are parked outside where they can get easily rained on, kind of an odd design choice.”

“I am a regular because I live very close..If I want fresh veggies and meat, I go kurkmans , but if I want to get something like soda or water, or milk, I go here..If you like a certain brand or flavor, they will order it for a regular..if I want to play keno now n then, I go there...If no one's around, I chitchat with owner or clerk..once in while, there can be a bad smell, but that's rare. It's more like bug spray I think. Of course they cost more, they are a small convenience store.i don't want to go supermarket for one soda, besides you can't buy just one can there.. I wish they opened past 9 tho.”

“Stay far away from the deli at night unless it's the woman working or supervisor. This location is old and outdated Thank God they're building a new facility that is state of the art and modern. The night manager at the front of the store is funny and friendly always says hello and was very attentive to a complaint I had. It was refreshing to know that he took action on my complaint.this location could use more employees like him and the girl with the long brown hair who works the self checkout section.”
