Hi i visited store on 23 th of december around 7 pm was rudely told by guy behind a counter that i wont be able to trade in my old ps4 slim with 2 controlers and few games i also wanted to buy a few games he said it would take like an hour ?what?I understand you want to get out of your job early on saturday but store closing hours is till 10 pm and its only 7 pm now its not like i got there last minute …Just shorten your operating hours or smthng but dont be rude to your customers gamestop ;)

The place has good options for consoles or video games, but it has only one small problem and that is the customer service is not the most adequate and timely.

Really bad store they say they open at 11am i ordered something for my sons birthday to have it ready by the time he got out of school and ordered a day ahead, i went to the store to pick it up at 12pm and store was closed and wasn't able to cancel my order for hours, thankfully i was able to buy my sons gift at best buy really bad management.

I traveled 45+ minutes with my PS5 to trade it in but was told they’re not doing trade ins because it’s too close to closing—at 7:20 and they close at 8. Absolutely ridiculous, this is why I’ve almost exclusively stopped shopping at GameStop

I know the employees are stressed, underpaid and badly managed, which is not their fault. But I have never had a good experience here. They will make claims over the phone that they won’t fulfill in-store. For a more helpful and less aggressive experience I recommend Best Buy in Arsenal Yard or Replay’d in Allston. Replay’d also buys used consoles and games.

Normally I do not let this get to me, but whoever was working at the front of the store was the rudest person I have met at this location. He was yelling at everyone who online pre-ordered the new Zelda game and saying those did not count and they could not get the game. He was alone so I felt really bad for him as it is a stressful day, but that behavior was uncalled for as everyone was being polite.Just extremely unprofessional behavior

I pre-ordered the limited edition Fire Emblem Engage Divine Edition and paid for it in advance. But when I came to pick it up, I discovered that the sales people had sold my copy to somebody else without calling me or letting me know. Avoid this place if you're a serious collector of limited editions.

This is second time my partner I went into this store to sell gaming items such as Xbox or controller. Each time I felt bad because we were treated very poorly, the question they ask are rude I don't think they ask that kind of question to any other customer especially white customer and at this point its clear that they made me and my partner feel bad about going in there ever again. Even the way they approached us I feel the energy of annoyance and impermanence like as soon as they us this rush of trying to get us out of their shop asap. It's an inhumane behavior! When you have such a preconceived notion and hate towards certain group of people for absolutely no reason then I don't understand why open a shop that's supposed to cater to everyone!

Horrible experience. Pre-ordered a game which was unreasonably delayed. Website has not even updated about the delivery even though I received the game .On top of that additional preorder bonuses where not included even though it was advertised so.Totally scammed. Other retailers are way more consistent and transparent with orders.This is not the first time GameStop has been inconsistent with their online presence.

Zero help, canceled my order, used a coupon that I apparently can't get back but I wouldn't know because after calling 10+ times over several hours to try to figure out what's going on I got no answer. Waste of time and money.

Horrendous customer service! I am a member and if I don't use my monthly $5 coupon I usually transfer it to my Nintendo account for my switch. They refused to do the transfer at first, but then when I pressed them stated that if I wanted to do the transfer I would have to buy a gift card first, which is absolutely ridiculous. I left and went to my usual store (Dedham) and they were able to complete the transfer for me. I’ve also successfully done this in the Braintree store. I was told this location in Brookline tends to give customers trouble. Staff and manager here needs training ASAP!!!
